VIPEK X1 Adjustable Clothes Rack, 3 Shelves and 2 Extendable Rails, Black

An adjustable width helps this clothes rack make use of closet space that a fixed-width rack may not suit. The VIPEK X1 expands from 24 to 41 inches and combines hanging rails with shelves for folded clothes, shoes and other wardrobe items. Choose a fixed rack for a set layout, or this expandable design when flexibility matters.

Tech summary

The X1 is a freestanding rack made of carbon steel, finished in black. Its width adjusts to suit the available space, while locking gadgets help secure the shelves and hanging rods at the chosen length. The rack measures 15.7 inches deep and 76.4 inches high, and has a maximum load capacity of 580 lbs.

It includes three wire shelves and two extendable hanging rods, giving you separate places for garments on hangers and items that are easier to stack. Set shoes along the bottom shelf, keep folded clothing on the others, and use the rails for pieces you want to access without rummaging through a pile. The open arrangement makes it easier to see what is stored, whether the rack is used in a bedroom, cloakroom, apartment, dorm room or laundry room.

Practical tips

Measure the intended space and adjust the rack width within its 24-to-41-inch range before arranging your clothing. The shelves and rods can be lengthened or shortened to suit your storage layout. When a wire shelf is expanded fully, tighten its screws completely for a more stable setup. Assembly is required, use the included step-by-step instructions and read them before starting. Anti-tip devices are also part of the rack’s design.

For a practical small-closet arrangement, hang everyday shirts and jackets on the rods, place folded items on the shelves, and keep shoes on the bottom level. This makes the rack useful for bringing several kinds of storage together without relying on one hanging bar alone. Customers also highlight the adjustable width and say the instructions make assembly straightforward, with the flexibility helping the rack fit different spaces.

What you get

The set includes one VIPEK X1 clothes rack with three wire shelves and two extendable hanging rods. The shelves and rails provide distinct storage zones, so you can arrange hanging and folded items side by side rather than choosing between one type of storage and another. Its adjustable structure can be set to a narrower or wider layout within the stated range, making it adaptable to different closet and room arrangements.

When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want an open, freestanding clothes storage setup that can adapt to the width available and hold both hanging and folded pieces. The shelves add room for shoes and folded clothing, while two rods make it easier to organize garments on hangers. In a laundry room, bedroom or compact apartment closet, that mix can help keep clothing visible and grouped by type. The VIPEK X1 brings adjustable hanging and shelf storage together in one rack, making it a practical choice for organizing everyday clothing in spaces where a set-width design may be less suitable.
