Amada 24-Inch Floating Shelves, Set of 2, Black with Hidden Metal Brackets
Product description
Getting the most from it
For anyone looking to use empty wall space for display or light household storage, the Amada floating shelves offer two matching surfaces without visible brackets. Their matte black finish and rectangular shape suit a range of rooms named in the listing, including a living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, hallway or office.
Each shelf is sized for smaller objects such as framed photos, books, trophies or small plants. They can also be placed above a desk, vanity or entryway, where a wall-mounted surface keeps items off a worktop or other furniture. As an alternative to a freestanding unit, they make use of vertical space, unlike shelves with exposed supports, the metal brackets sit behind the boards.
The boards are made from MDF or engineered wood, with a painted matte black finish. The listing includes assembly instructions and standard mounting hardware, and names wood studs, drywall and concrete as compatible wall types. It does not specify moisture resistance, so a bathroom placement should not be taken as confirmation that the shelves are suitable for damp conditions.

Strengths
The main draw is the combination of a clean, floating appearance and practical display space. Two shelves can create a coordinated arrangement, while the black finish gives the boards a defined look against the wall. At 6.7 inches wide, they are intended for display and smaller everyday items rather than deep storage, consider what you plan to place on them before choosing a location.
Installation is described as easy to assemble, with instructions and mounting hardware included. The listing does not provide a detailed installation process, so the included guidance will matter when selecting the right wall and fixing method. It also gives conflicting maximum-load figures, so there is no single dependable capacity to use when planning heavier items. Keep the intended contents light unless the manufacturer’s instructions for your specific set clarify the limit.
It’s a good fit if you want two matching wall shelves for décor or smaller belongings and prefer concealed supports. A larger bookcase or deeper shelf system would make more sense for bulky items or substantial storage needs.
What to clarify
Does the set include both shelves? Yes. The product is listed as a set of two.
Are the brackets visible after installation? They are described as hidden behind the shelves, giving the boards a floating appearance.
Which wall types are listed as compatible? The description names wood studs, drywall and concrete, and says standard mounting hardware is included. Follow the supplied instructions for the chosen wall type.
Should you buy it?
Choose the Amada set for a paired display arrangement where a matte black finish and concealed metal brackets suit the room. It can add a place for photos, small plants or other compact items without taking up floor space. The unclear load rating is a meaningful consideration: if your plan depends on a specific weight capacity or involves heavy belongings, confirm the limit before relying on these shelves.
