TROND Prime II Power Bar, 4 Outlets, USB-C, 10 ft Cord, 1440 J Surge Protection

At 28.5 x 4.29 x 2.79 cm, the black TROND Prime II combines a power bar with a slim, low-profile plug and a 10 ft extension cord. Four AC outlets, two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports help bring several charging options to a desk, bedside table or entertainment area, even when the wall outlet is tucked behind furniture.

Choose it when you need both reach and device charging from one indoor power bar, a basic extension cord is a simpler fit when extra USB ports and surge protection are not part of the setup.

Product specs

The 10 ft cord helps reach a desktop, nightstand or kitchen counter from a more distant outlet. Its thin profile can make it easier to route around furniture, while the right-angle flat plug sits close to the wall and leaves the lower wall outlet available for another use. The power bar also has a widely spaced outlet for a larger adapter.

What it works with

The Type B, 3-pin plug suits a compatible indoor outlet, and cameras are among the listed compatible devices. Use the AC outlets for suitable equipment within the stated power rating, and the USB ports for devices that charge through USB. That makes the bar useful where a computer, camera or home-office accessories share a charging area, without needing a separate USB adapter at the wall.

Best use cases

For a home office, the long cord can bring power to a desk that sits away from the outlet, while the flat plug helps when furniture is positioned close to the wall. In a bedroom, it can serve a nightstand with room for both plugged-in devices and USB charging. The mounting ears at the corners provide another option for a media centre, under-counter area or other fixed indoor setup.

Buyers often appreciate the flat plug and its placement behind furniture. Feedback on the USB ports and outlet spacing is mixed, so those details may matter when planning which adapters and devices will share the bar.

What to clarify

How many USB devices can it charge? It has two USB-C and two USB-A ports. The listed total USB output is 17 W, so the combined output across USB ports is 5 V/3.4 A, the USB-C output is rated at 5 V/3 A.

What surge protection does it provide? The power bar has a 1440 J surge-protection rating and is ETL listed, making it suited to indoor setups where several electronics share a power source.

Can it be mounted? Yes. It has visible mounting ears at each corner, and four screws are included for wall or under-counter mounting.

Buying verdict

A solid pick if one indoor setup needs a longer reach, multiple AC outlets and USB charging in the same compact power bar. The flat plug, 10 ft cord and mounting option make it especially practical for desks, nightstands and media areas where the wall outlet is awkward to access.
