Torkase GLS-20J2P-E17-S14- Outdoor String Lights, 32 Shatterproof Bulbs

For outdoor spaces that need warm, inviting ambient light, these Torkase string lights create a defined glow along a patio or gathering area. The 100-foot cord carries 30+2 S14 LED bulbs in warm white at 2200K. Shatterproof PET bulbs and side hooks make them practical for decorating pergolas, fences and event spaces.

Who it’s for

Choose these lights to bring a relaxed, café-style atmosphere to a backyard, porch, patio or pergola. Their linear layout suits spaces where you want light distributed along a span rather than concentrated in one spot. They also work for weddings, parties, cafés and other settings where warm decorative lighting helps make the area feel welcoming.

The corded, outdoor-use design is suited to a fixed run along posts, a fence or another structure. Side-mounted hooks give you convenient points for hanging the strand, so you can shape the layout to the space. For a small gathering, for example, run the lights along a pergola edge or between supports to add a warm backdrop without making the lighting the centre of attention.

The 2200K colour temperature gives the bulbs their soft, warm-white tone. PET construction provides a shatterproof alternative to glass bulbs, a useful detail in busy outdoor living areas. The lights are dimmable with a compatible dimmer, allowing you to adjust the atmosphere for a quiet evening or a livelier gathering. The strand is also described as connectable, which can help when planning a longer decorative run.

Where it shines

These lights are designed for creating atmosphere across outdoor living and event spaces. Along a backyard fence, they can give a seating area a warm visual boundary, around a pergola, they add a continuous line of light above the space. Their 100-foot length offers room to plan a longer route, while the side hooks make it easier to hang the cord along suitable structures.

Compared with a single bright fixture, string lights spread the decorative effect along their route. That makes them a natural fit when the aim is a comfortable evening setting or a welcoming backdrop for guests, rather than one concentrated pool of light. Buyers also describe the glow as cosy and appreciate the lights for backyard use. Opinions are more varied on the ambience and durability, so the best fit is a space where warm accent lighting is the priority.

Is it worth it?

These Torkase lights bring together a long 100-foot run, 32 shatterproof S14 bulbs and a warm 2200K glow for outdoor spaces that benefit from decorative, distributed lighting. The hanging hooks support practical placement along fences and structures, while dimming with a compatible dimmer offers more control over the mood. They’re a strong fit for patios, pergolas and event areas where a welcoming atmosphere matters as much as the lighting itself.
