Timbertouch MAYCAV5 Adjustable Saddle Stool, Swivel, Black PU Leather, Backrest

At 39D x 37W x 56H centimetres, the Timbertouch MAYCAV5 is a compact saddle stool for active workspaces. Its black PU leather seat has a padded cushion and a backrest. Height adjustment, a 360-degree swivel and rolling casters help you move and reposition while working. The metal frame has a chrome finish.

What to know

The saddle-shaped seat offers a different sitting position from a conventional round stool, with a design intended to encourage an upright posture. A backrest and adjustable lumbar support add support while seated, while the swivel seat makes it easier to turn between tasks without repeatedly moving the base. For work that involves shifting between a client, tools and a nearby surface, the casters help keep movement within reach.

The seat is upholstered in PU leather over a padded cushion, giving the stool a wipe-clean surface for busy work areas. After use, clean it with a soft, damp cloth. The chrome-finished metal frame pairs a practical working-stool format with a polished look for a salon, clinic, studio or home office. Assembly is required, and instructions are included. Buyers describe the seating as comfortable and say the stool meets their functional needs, these comments reflect individual experiences rather than a guaranteed result.

Size & fit

The seat adjusts from 22 to 26 inches in height, so you can set it to suit your work surface and preferred seated position. The seat is 14.5 inches wide, and the listed overall dimensions are 39D x 37W x 56H centimetres. A maximum weight recommendation of 113.4 kg helps inform whether the stool suits its intended user. Set it on a flat, dry surface, and periodically check that the screws and base are secure.

Who it’s for

This stool is designed for salon, spa, massage, clinic, lab and office settings, as well as tattoo studios and home workspaces. It suits tasks where sitting close to a client or work surface and turning between nearby tools are part of the routine. For example, a stylist can adjust the seat height to their station, swivel to reach supplies and roll between work areas, while the saddle seat and backrest provide a more supported alternative to a basic backless stool. The adjustable height and mobility also make it useful in shared workspaces where people or stations may call for different seating positions.

Should you buy it?

Choose the MAYCAV5 if your work calls for a mobile stool with an adjustable seat, saddle-shaped cushioning and a backrest. Its combination of swivel movement, rolling casters and a wipe-clean PU leather surface is suited to professional and home work areas where you move between tasks throughout the day. If you are choosing between a simple fixed round stool and a more adjustable, mobile seat, this model brings those working features together in one compact format.
