Getting the most from it

Use the height lever to set the seat between 18.5 and 22.2 inches, then swivel to reach items around your workstation. The rolling casters support movement across tile, wood floors, carpet and other flooring, while the five-star base provides a stable foundation. For a short pause between tasks, the rocking mode adds a gentle change of position.

Compared with a fixed-arm desk chair, the flip-up arms give you another way to make space beside a desk or when storing the chair. The mesh back and shaped lumbar support suit regular work or study sessions, and the adjustable height helps adapt the seat to your setup. Keep the chair indoors, as intended, and use the armrests in their lowered position when you want arm support.

Buyers commonly praise the chair’s comfort, appearance, adjustable features and sturdy feel. Feedback on the seat cushioning is mixed, so comfort preferences may vary, the chair pairs a mesh back with a sponge seat.

Practical tips

Set the chair height before settling into a work session, and flip the arms up when you need to move the chair close to a desk or create more clearance. Its swivel and rolling design can be useful when switching between a computer and nearby work materials without repeatedly repositioning the chair. The jet-black finish gives it a simple look for an office, bedroom, study or living room workspace.

For choosing between this and a more traditional chair with fixed arms, consider how often you need extra clearance around the desk. This model’s flip-up armrests make that adjustment straightforward, while its mid-back form and lumbar support keep the design focused on desk work.

Questions before you buy

What is the chair’s recommended maximum weight? The maximum weight recommendation is 113.4 kg. The chair also has a five-star base and rolling casters.
