SR SUN RISE SRSH-UPC12 Ceiling Shower System, 12-Inch Rain Head, Brushed Nickel

The 12-inch rain shower head gives this ceiling-mounted system a broad overhead format for a rainfall-style shower. Its brushed nickel finish pairs with a solid brass mixer valve for a coordinated look.

A brass handheld shower head and hose add a more directed spray alongside the overhead rinse. Use the single handle to adjust water temperature and flow.

The set includes the rough-in valve and trim, ceiling shower arm, handheld shower bracket and hose, so the main components work together as one system.

What to know

This system combines a 12-inch 304 stainless steel rain head with a brass L-style handheld shower head. The rain head uses air-injection technology, and the set is rated at 1.75 GPM. A pressure-balance valve helps maintain balance when hot or cold water pressure changes, while two built-in check valves are designed to reduce water-hammer noise.

The ceiling-mounted arm is 30cm long, and the handheld shower connects with a 1.8m stainless steel hose. The single-handle control brings temperature and flow adjustment together. For shoppers choosing between a simple overhead shower and a more versatile setup, the handheld spray offers a practical option for directing water where it is needed.

Buyers often speak positively about the system’s construction and how the controls and shower heads function. Feedback on leakage is mixed, so careful installation is important to the finished setup.

How to use it

Use the ceiling-mounted rain head for an overhead rinse, then switch to the handheld head when a directed spray is more convenient. The handheld bracket keeps that head in place between uses. Air-injection technology is intended to support a forceful rainfall-style spray, including in lower-water-pressure environments.

The valve is described as suitable for new construction or remodelling. For an existing shower setup, the manufacturer says plumbing and tile work need to be redone. The system is designed for standard 1/2-inch U.S. plumbing connections, so confirm that connection type as part of installation planning.

Practical tips

Plan the ceiling arm position around where you want the rain spray to fall, and choose a reachable location for the handheld bracket. The included mixer valve and trim make this a complete shower-system configuration rather than a trim-only replacement. The manufacturer lists cUPC certification and compliance with ASME A112.18.1-2018/CSA B125.1-18.

For cartridge replacement, the manufacturer’s instructions describe removing the handle and round cover, unscrewing the brass cap, then pulling out the cartridge. The tile does not need to be cut for this procedure.

Questions before you buy

Can this system be used in a remodel? Yes. The valve is described as suitable for new construction and remodelling. Adapting an existing setup requires plumbing and tile work.

Can the handheld head be used separately from the rain head? The kit includes both a ceiling-mounted rain head and a handheld shower head with a bracket and hose, offering an overhead spray and a more directed option for everyday rinsing.

Can the cartridge be replaced without cutting tile? Yes. The manufacturer’s replacement steps access it by removing the handle, cover and brass cap, without cutting the tile.

Should you buy it?

A solid pick if you want a ceiling-mounted rainfall shower with the added flexibility of a handheld head and a matching brushed nickel finish. Its included valve and trim suit a planned new installation or remodel, while the pressure-balance design and single-handle control support straightforward everyday use.
