Casa Platino CPENCASE-QN Queen Mattress Encasement, Waterproof, Zippered, 6-Sided
Product description
Protect a queen mattress from spills and everyday moisture with the Casa Platino CPENCASE-QN zippered encasement. Its waterproof construction covers all six sides, helping keep the mattress protected all around rather than just across the sleeping surface.
A full zip closure secures the cover around the mattress and creates a physical barrier against bed bugs, dust mites and other allergens. The quiet design adds protection without the crinkly sound associated with plastic covers.
Made for standard queen mattresses measuring 60" x 80" and up to 15" deep, this white polyester cover is machine washable for straightforward care.
The essentials
The six-sided design is the key difference from a fitted protector that covers only the top and sides. Once zipped around the mattress, the encasement forms a complete barrier intended to help keep bed bugs and dust mites from entering or escaping. That full coverage is useful when you want to protect the mattress itself, including its underside, as part of a bedroom care routine.
A waterproof membrane helps shield the mattress from spills, sweat and accidents. The cover is also described as noiseless, so it can provide this layer of protection without the familiar rustling sound of a plastic cover. Buyers often praise the fit and soft feel, feedback on water resistance is mixed, so their experiences with moisture protection vary.
Size & fit
This Queen size is designed for a standard 60" x 80" mattress up to 15" deep. The flexible construction is intended to sit smoothly without shifting or bunching, while the zipper closes around all six sides. Check the mattress measurements before choosing a cover so the depth and length match the intended fit.
Usage tips
Open the zipper fully and work the encasement around the mattress, making sure the corners are seated before closing it. The full enclosure is most useful when the zipper is closed around the mattress, rather than leaving an edge exposed. For routine care, machine wash the cover and tumble dry on low. Its washable design makes it practical to refresh as part of regular bedding maintenance.
For example, this can be a useful layer in a guest room where the mattress needs protection from occasional spills, or in a bedroom where a full barrier against dust mites and bed bugs is a priority. Choose a six-sided encasement when coverage around the entire mattress matters, a top-only protector is a different approach focused on the sleeping surface.
