Speedo Backpack 45 L

Swimmers, gym-goers and travellers who want one bag for clothing, gear and a laptop may appreciate the way this Speedo backpack separates its contents. Its 45 L capacity is paired with a drawstring main compartment, a removable water-resistant kit bag and several smaller pockets, so wet or frequently used items need not share the same space as valuables. Padded adjustable shoulder straps, a chest strap and a breathable mesh back panel are intended to make carrying a full load more manageable. The listing doesn’t give the laptop sleeve dimensions, though, so don’t assume your device will fit without checking its size against the bag.

How it fits

This is a carry-all approach rather than a compact daypack: the large main compartment can hold training or travel gear, while the removable kit bag gives you another way to keep items apart. Two open pockets on the front have drainage grommets, and a zipped pocket provides a place for valuables. On the side, a zip pocket sits over a large water-bottle holder with a toggle closure. That layout gives you several places to sort essentials, but it also means there are more compartments to organize than on a simple open-top bag.

The padded shoulder straps adjust, and the chest strap adds another point of support, the mesh back panel is designed to let air circulate. For a pool session, for example, you could keep your kit in the removable bag, put smaller accessories in the front pockets and carry a laptop separately in the internal padded sleeve. How useful is that separation if you only carry a change of clothes? It matters most when you regularly bring both training gear and everyday items.

Pros

• The 45 L capacity and multiple pockets give swim or gym equipment room alongside smaller essentials.
• A removable water-resistant kit bag can help keep wet gear apart from other belongings.
• The internal padded laptop sleeve adds a dedicated spot for a device.
• Adjustable padded straps, a chest strap and a breathable mesh back panel address carrying comfort.
• The customizable front panel can be used for a name or team details.

One limitation: water-resistant materials and a water-resistant kit bag are not the same as a waterproof claim. Based on what the listing says, this bag is intended to handle wet gear and workouts, but it doesn’t specify protection from heavy rain or submersion. The front panel can be personalized, though the listing doesn’t explain how personalization is applied.

What I’d decide

It suits you if you want a sizeable swim or gym bag that can also carry a laptop and gives wet kit its own removable compartment. Compared with a basic duffel that mainly offers one large space, this layout gives you more ways to separate gear, in return, it’s a more feature-heavy choice than someone who just needs room for a towel and a change of clothes may need. It isn’t for you if you need confirmed laptop dimensions, a clearly stated waterproof rating or a small, minimal bag. For team use, the customizable panel is a useful extra, but the listing doesn’t provide details on the personalization process.
