Speedo Backpack 35-Litre

What to know

Carrying a wet swimsuit, cap and goggles after a swim can leave the rest of your kit feeling damp or jumbled. The Speedo Teamster backpack is designed with a hidden, ventilated front gear pocket for those wet items, plus a durable outer shell intended to resist abrasion. Its primary zippers are YKK, and webbing loops and a side-panel D-ring give you places to attach accessories or a bag tag. That makes it worth considering for regular pool sessions when you want a dedicated place for swim gear rather than relying on a basic tote.

The listed capacity is 35 litres, and the product is described as one size. There’s no further information here about internal compartments, dimensions or carrying comfort, so those details may matter if you have a specific packing routine or fit preference. Keep in mind that the outer shell is described as abrasion-resistant, not waterproof, the ventilated pocket is intended for wet gear, but that doesn’t confirm protection from leaks elsewhere in the bag.

Best use cases

This backpack is most clearly aimed at swimmers who carry a swimsuit, cap and goggles to and from the pool. For example, after a session, you can put those damp items in the ventilated front pocket rather than leaving them loose among your other belongings. The webbing loops and D-ring may also be useful for attaching accessories or a bag tag, though no particular accessory is included in the details provided.

It may suit you if a roomy swim bag and a designated spot for wet kit are more useful than a simple carryall. If your priority is a highly organised bag with specified internal sections, or a design confirmed to keep water contained, the available details don’t establish that this one will meet those needs. It may not be the best choice if you need verified waterproof protection.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the ventilated front pocket for the wet suit, cap or goggles it’s designed to hold, and keep in mind that the description doesn’t say the pocket prevents moisture from reaching other belongings. If you’re packing items that should stay dry, consider how you separate them rather than assuming the outer shell provides a waterproof barrier. The abrasion-resistant exterior and YKK primary zippers are relevant details for a bag that gets handled often, but they don’t tell you how it will perform under every kind of wear.

Before choosing it, think about what you normally take to the pool and whether the 35-litre capacity suits that load. A smaller, simpler bag may be easier to carry if you only bring a few essentials, this one makes more sense when you want space for swim gear and value the dedicated ventilated pocket.

Before you decide

What is the front pocket for? It is described as a hidden, ventilated gear pocket for wet suits, caps and goggles.

What type of zippers does it use? The primary zippers are identified as YKK.

Can it be confirmed as waterproof? No waterproof rating or water-containment claim is included in the product details.

Is it worth it?

The Speedo Teamster is a practical fit if you regularly carry wet swim gear and want a dedicated ventilated pocket, along with a 35-litre format and abrasion-resistant exterior. Its loops and D-ring add a little flexibility for accessories or a bag tag. Choose a more basic bag if you don’t need space set aside for wet kit, look elsewhere if waterproofing or a detailed internal layout is essential, since neither is confirmed here.
