RTTY CMC-O251 50 ft Outdoor String Lights, Dimmable Warm White G40 LEDs

Usage tips

For a patio dinner, balcony gathering or evening in the backyard, these string lights add a warm, welcoming glow overhead. The 50 ft strand has 25 G40 LED bulbs, spaced 1.8 ft apart, to create an even line of light along a railing, pergola or covered seating area. It comes assembled, so you can hang it in your chosen layout and plug it in. The 9 ft lead gives you extra reach between the strand and an outlet, plan the route before hanging so the lights fall where you want them.

The bulbs emit warm white light at 2700K, making the strand a natural fit for relaxed outdoor meals, celebrations and café-style décor. It is also suitable for indoor use, so the same globe-light look can carry through to a dining area or event space. The plastic G40 bulbs are described as shatterproof, and the string is rated IP44 for water resistance. For outdoor placement, position and secure the strand to suit the space and its exposure to the elements.

Strengths

A practical advantage is the connectable design: the female connector at the end lets you link strands end to end, with up to 20 strands stated as the maximum. That makes it easier to extend a lighting layout across a larger area than a single strand can cover. The 6-inch tail connector helps keep the connection close to the end of the run.

The lights are compatible with most standard dimmers, giving you a way to adjust the brightness for different settings, from a brighter gathering to a softer evening ambience. The dimmer is not included. Compared with separate decorative lamps, a single hanging strand can create a continuous line of globe lighting across a patio or event space, while the connectable format supports a longer layout when needed.

Highlights

The black cord gives the strand a defined linear look, while the warm glow and globe-shaped bulbs bring a vintage café-light feel to balconies, porches, decks, backyards, bistros and market spaces. The set includes one 50 ft patio light strand, 25 E12 bulbs plus one spare bulb, and a user manual. LED technology and a stated lifespan of over 30,000 hours are part of the product’s energy-saving design, the product information also describes savings of up to 90% compared with incandescent bulbs.

Buyers often praise the warm appearance and the way the lights help make outdoor spaces feel inviting. Feedback is mixed on durability and suitability for outdoor use, and some buyers say the cord reach felt shorter than expected. Mapping the outlet position and hanging route before installation can help you plan the layout. The strand is also dimmable with a compatible dimmer, making it adaptable to the mood you want to create.

Should you buy it?

Choose these RTTY lights if you want a long, connectable strand of warm white globe LEDs for a patio, porch, balcony or gathering space. For a relaxed café-style look with a continuous line of light, this set brings the key pieces together in one assembled strand.
