puredown PD-PI-15002-A Feather and Down Pillow Inserts, 12 x 20, Set of 2

Give a sofa, recliner or daybed a more finished look with these rectangular 12 x 20 throw pillow inserts. The set of two makes it easy to dress a pair of matching cushions or add coordinated lumbar pillows to a seating area.

A fill of 95% grey feathers and 5% grey down brings a plush feel, while the inserts are designed to provide back support when you sit back and relax.

Use them indoors with decorative pillow covers for a comfortable accent on living-room furniture, in an office or in a guest space. Their white polyester covers and rectangular shape suit a range of décor styles.

Pros

The feather-and-down fill gives these inserts a soft, plush character that works for both lounging and styling. Add one to a chair or recliner for a cushioned backrest, or arrange the pair on a sofa to create a coordinated look. The 12 x 20 size is a practical choice for rectangular lumbar cushions, and the two-pack helps furnish more than one seat or create a balanced arrangement.

Buyers often appreciate the softness and the fuller look the inserts give decorative pillows. Feedback is mixed on the amount of filling and on how well feathers stay contained, so experiences with fullness and feather protection vary. The stated feather-and-down blend and plush firmness make these a fitting choice when a soft, cushioned feel is a priority.

What matters most

These are inserts rather than finished decorative pillows, so pair them with covers suited to a 12 x 20 insert to bring your chosen colour or pattern into the room. Their plain white polyester cover keeps the insert neutral beneath a decorative case, while the zipper closure is part of the insert’s construction. The shape is rectangular, making it well suited to lumbar-style cushions rather than square pillow arrangements.

For a simple living-room refresh, place one behind your back in a recliner and use the second on a nearby sofa or chair. The feather and down fill adds a soft layer for sitting, while the back-support feature gives the cushions a practical role beyond decoration. If you are choosing between a complete cushion and an insert to use with your own covers, this set lets you coordinate the visible fabric with the room while using the same fill type across two seats.

Care & maintenance

The inserts are machine washable. The care guidance recommends a delicate cycle and drying before putting them back into use. Between washes, fluff each pillow as needed to restore its shape and give a covered cushion a fuller appearance. Regular fluffing also makes it easy to adjust the look, from a relaxed, soft cushion to a more plump decorative accent.

Should you buy it?

Choose this set if you want two soft, rectangular inserts that can add both lumbar cushioning and a coordinated decorative touch to indoor seating. The 12 x 20 format, plush feather-and-down fill and machine-washable construction make them useful for everyday living spaces where you want to refresh your existing pillow covers and add comfortable support to a sofa, chair or recliner.
