PopoIron EL01 Rechargeable Camping Lantern, 5000mAh, 3 Light Colours

For lighting a tent, campsite table or room during a power outage, the PopoIron EL01 spreads light across a space rather than directing it at one spot. Its 360-degree beam reaches up to 600 lumens, making it useful when several people need to see around the same area.

Choose cool white, warm white or natural white with a short press, then hold the button to adjust brightness smoothly. That lets you set a gentler glow for reading or a brighter setting for practical tasks.

For nights outdoors, the IPX4 water-resistant design handles splashing water, and the lantern’s rechargeable battery can also provide USB power for a cell phone or tablet in an emergency.

Tips for day-to-day use

Set the lantern on a table to light a shared space, or use its handle and hook to hang it overhead in a tent. Hanging it upside down can spread light from above, while the 360-degree output helps illuminate the surrounding area without aiming the lantern at each person in turn.

Use the three colour modes to suit the activity, then hold the control to dim or brighten the light. A lower setting can create a softer atmosphere for reading or winding down, a brighter setting is handy when arranging gear or moving around a campsite. For a home outage, place it where the whole room can benefit from its wide-angle glow. Keep it protected from immersion: IPX4 is designed for splashes, not submersion.

What stands out

The EL01 combines portable area lighting with a 5000mAh rechargeable battery and a USB output that can power a cell phone or tablet. That gives it a second role when an outage interrupts access to regular charging. The three light colours and stepless dimming also make it adaptable, whether you want a softer tent light or a brighter setting for general visibility.

Buyers highlight the lantern’s portability, useful brightness and adjustable light settings. Feedback on battery duration is mixed, so actual use time can vary. The listed maximum runtime is up to 6 hours on the brightest setting.

Compared with a flashlight intended to illuminate one direction, this lantern’s 360-degree beam suits shared spaces such as a tent or table. A focused beam is more appropriate when you need to direct light at a particular point, the EL01 is designed to light the area around it.
