Their low-fat profile and no-added-sugar claim may also suit owners looking for a treat that fits a considered everyday routine. They are not a complete food, use them as treats alongside your dog’s regular diet.

Compatibility & requirements

Pawant lists these sticks for dogs of all breed sizes and all life stages, including puppies. That broad fit makes them useful for households with dogs of different ages or sizes, and the rawhide-free recipe offers an alternative to rawhide chews. They are also identified as corn-free. For training, keep a bag nearby and offer a treat as a reward for the behaviour you want to reinforce. As with any treat, account for it within your dog’s overall feeding routine.

Usage tips

Offer a stick as a reward during a short training session, or use it as a chew between meals. The stick shape gives dogs something to work on, while the sweet potato flavour provides a food-based incentive. For a household with more than one dog, choose the treat for each dog’s needs and supervise snack time as you normally would. The product is also listed for dental care, digestive health and weight management, these are intended uses, not a substitute for an individually tailored diet or veterinary guidance. If you are selecting between a rawhide chew and a plant-based snack, these dried sweet potato sticks provide the latter approach in a ready-to-serve format.

Are these treats rawhide-free? Yes. They are identified as rawhide-free, making them a sweet potato-based alternative to rawhide treats.

Can puppies have them? The listed age range is all life stages, which includes puppies. They are also described for dogs of all breed sizes.

What are the treats made from? Sweet potato is the stated main ingredient, presented as dried strips in stick form. The product is also described as grain-free, gluten-free and non-fried.

Final verdict

Pawant’s 227 g bag is a practical fit for dog owners seeking a plant-based training reward or chew in a simple sweet potato format. Its all-life-stages and all-breed-sizes listing, along with rawhide-free and grain-free claims, make it a versatile treat to keep on hand for reward moments and everyday snacking.
