PATSBA King Mattress Topper, 3-Inch Dual-Layer Gel Memory Foam and Quilted Pillow Top

For sleepers looking to soften a King mattress and add cushioning around pressure points, this dual-layer topper combines gel memory foam with a quilted pillow top.

The two layers can be stacked for a plusher feel or separated to adjust the setup to your comfort preference.

Its 78" x 80" King size, machine-washable removable cover and mattress pocket help make it a practical bedroom upgrade.

Technical overview

The topper pairs a 2-inch gel memory foam layer with a 1-inch quilted pillow-top layer, for a total 3-inch profile. The foam is designed to contour to the body and distribute weight, while the quilted layer adds a softer surface. This combination is intended to cushion areas such as the shoulders, neck and back during sleep.

Unlike a single-piece topper, its adjustable two-layer design offers a choice: use both layers together for a plusher surface, or separate them to personalize the feel. The quilted pillow top uses 750 GSM filling and a 3D and 7D fibre structure. The foam is CertiPUR-US certified, and the pillow top is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.

Made for a King mattress measuring 78" x 80", the fitted design has a deep elastic pocket that fits mattresses up to 21 inches. The removable cover is machine washable, making routine care more straightforward.

Practical tips

To choose a setup, start with both layers together if you want the full 3-inch cushioned feel. If you prefer a different level of softness, separate the layers and see which arrangement suits your bed. The gel memory foam is designed to conform to body curves, while the quilted top supplies an additional soft layer.

Buyers often describe the topper as making a bed feel softer and more comfortable, with some reporting that they wake with less hip or back discomfort. These are individual impressions rather than a guaranteed result. Feedback on durability is mixed, so consider your own comfort priorities alongside those comments.

For care, remove the cover and machine wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle. The topper arrives vacuum-packed, allow 24–48 hours to expand in a ventilated area before use. Matching the 78" x 80" size to your mattress helps the fitted design sit as intended.

Usage tips

This topper suits a bedroom where the goal is to add cushioning without replacing the mattress. For example, someone who finds their current bed too firm can use the foam and quilted layers together to create a softer sleep surface. The elastic pocket helps keep the fitted topper in position on a compatible mattress, while the removable cover makes upkeep easier.

Is it worth it?

For anyone seeking a softer King-size sleep surface, the main appeal is the combination of contouring gel memory foam and a quilted pillow top, with the flexibility to use the layers together or separately. Its 78" x 80" fit and pocket for mattresses up to 21 inches make it a specific match for a King bed, while the washable cover supports regular care. Choose it for adjustable cushioning and a plusher feel, especially if you want to change the comfort of your existing mattress rather than shop for a new one.
