LYNCAST X3Pro Smart Projector, Native 1080p, 800 ANSI, Short-Throw
Product description
For viewers who need a large projected image in a compact room, the LYNCAST X3Pro combines a 0.8:1 short-throw ratio with a 270° rotating design. Its listed projection range is 40–130 inches, which gives you flexibility when wall space or projector placement is limited.
It has native 1920 x 1080 resolution and supports 4K content, that is not the same as a native 4K display. Auto focus and auto keystone are intended to reduce setup adjustments, while the 800 ANSI lumens rating gives a concrete brightness figure to consider when comparing projectors.
The practical choice is between an all-in-one setup for streaming and a more modular arrangement using separate devices or speakers. The X3Pro has licensed streaming apps and built-in speakers, while its HDMI, Bluetooth and 3.5mm connections offer other ways to connect equipment.

What it works with
The listed licensed apps include Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+ and Hulu, so compatible streaming can be handled through the projector without an extra streaming stick. Wi-Fi supports wireless connectivity, and HDMI provides a wired option for compatible devices. Bluetooth can pair with external speakers, headphones or soundbars, the built-in dual speakers are available when you want a simpler setup.
The rotating body is designed to direct the image towards a wall, ceiling or outdoor screen, without relying on a fixed mounting position. That can suit bedroom viewing or a backyard movie setup. Buyers’ feedback is mixed on picture quality, connectivity and autofocus: some find these features useful, while others report inconsistent results. Some also raise concerns about durability, so the feature list alone does not settle questions about long-term reliability.
Tips for day-to-day use
In a dorm room or apartment, the short-throw ratio may help when there is little room between the projector and the wall. For example, the product information says an 80-inch image is achievable from 1.4 metres. Use the rotating design to choose a projection direction, then allow autofocus and auto keystone to adjust the image, buyer feedback on those automatic corrections is not uniform.
If you mainly want convenient streaming and occasional viewing, the built-in apps and speakers reduce the amount of equipment to set up. A separate speaker remains an option over Bluetooth if you prefer external audio. Worth considering if flexible placement and fewer add-on devices matter more than having native 4K resolution. You may want to skip it if native 4K is a requirement, this model is specified as native 1080p, with 4K support.
Practical questions
Does “4K supported” mean the image is native 4K? No. The stated native resolution is 1920 x 1080, 4K is listed as supported.
Can it stream without a separate TV stick? The product information lists licensed apps including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+ and Hulu, so those services can be accessed through the projector’s built-in system.
What should be ready for setup? The box includes a remote, HDMI cable, adapter, manual and cleaning kit. The remote needs 2 x AAA batteries, which are not included.
Final verdict
Choose the X3Pro if a compact projector with short-throw placement, a rotating body and built-in streaming suits your room and viewing habits. Its native 1080p resolution, included speakers and multiple connection options make the intended use clear, but buyer feedback on performance and durability is mixed. If you prioritize native 4K or want more certainty about long-term reliability, those are reasons to compare alternatives before choosing.
