Luciphia Waterproof Reversible Dog Blanket, XL Navy Blue Sherpa and Cut Pile

Some pet blankets are chosen mainly as a soft place to settle, this one also adds a water-resistant barrier for furniture protection. The Luciphia blanket pairs a Sherpa side with textured cut pile. Its navy blue colour suits sofas, beds and car seats. Machine washing helps keep regular clean-up simple.

Everyday use

Set it over a favourite resting spot to give your pet a warm, soft surface while helping shield the furniture underneath from fur, dirt, scratches and moisture. The two-sided design lets you switch between plush Sherpa and textured cut pile, so the blanket can be turned over as needed. For a car ride, a vet visit or a cosy spot at home, its lightweight throw format makes it easy to move between surfaces.

The waterproof barrier is positioned inside the blanket to help stop spills and accidents from soaking through, while the outer fabric is described as breathable. That makes it useful for everyday lounging, including after outdoor time when paws or fur may be damp. Its warm polyester fabric is intended for use across the seasons, with particular comfort for naps, cuddles and burrowing.

Pros

Reversible construction gives you two distinct textures in one blanket, and reinforced stitching is designed to resist scratching and wear. The XL size measures 85'' x 57'', providing a broad layer for larger lounging areas. Use it across a sofa or bed, or place it over a car seat to make a familiar resting space for your pet while helping keep fur and dirt off the upholstery.

Care is practical for a frequently used pet blanket: machine wash it in cold water and tumble dry on a low-temperature setting. Buyers commonly highlight how easy it is to clean and appreciate its appearance and comfort. This combination of a washable surface and an internal moisture barrier can help make day-to-day pet areas easier to manage.

What matters most

The XL size is the key detail when choosing where to use this blanket. At 85'' x 57'', it offers coverage for larger furniture and car seating areas, placing it where your pet usually settles helps protect the surface that gets the most use. The navy blue colour and solid pattern keep the look understated, while the reversible Sherpa and cut-pile faces give you a choice of texture.

Buyer feedback is positive about washability and furniture protection, but experiences are mixed on leak-proof performance and durability. The product’s care instructions call for a cold machine wash and low-temperature drying. Its polyester fabric and warm feel make it a practical layer for pets at any life stage.

When it makes sense

Choose this blanket when your pet shares the sofa, bed or car and you want one layer to serve as both a comfortable resting spot and a furniture protector. Compared with a simple throw selected just for lounging, this design puts more emphasis on the moisture barrier and routine washing. For homes where pets move between rooms or travel in the car, the reversible format and portable throw style make it easy to reposition. A solid pick if you want a soft, warm surface with XL coverage and a washable design for everyday pet use.
