The quilted construction helps keep the padding evenly distributed, creating a more consistent resting surface for everyday drives and longer journeys. Its simple, flat format also makes it easy to use as a dedicated resting spot at home or in a crate.

Compatibility & requirements

The mat has a universal fit and is designed for most vehicle rear seats. It is suitable for use in cars, trucks and SUVs, and its silicone anti-slip underside grips both leather and fabric seats to help limit unwanted movement when your dog settles in or changes position. As a practical alternative to a full-coverage seat cover, it provides a cushioned area for your pet, it can also be layered over a full-coverage dog car seat cover for an additional soft layer. That cover is sold separately.

Everyday use

For a typical outing, lay the mat across the back seat before your dog gets in. The padded surface gives them room to rest or stretch, while the non-slip backing helps the mat stay more settled during everyday driving. After muddy walks or trips outdoors, remove loose hair, dust and paw prints with a vacuum or wipe. When it needs a deeper clean, the mat is machine washable.

The same mat can also serve as a familiar resting place in a crate or around the home, making it useful beyond car journeys. On first unpacking, the plush fabric may release a few fibres, a quick shake or a cold-water wash before use can help prepare it for your dog. The light grey colour offers a neutral look that works well with many vehicle interiors.
