LG Refrigerator Water Filter LT700P
Product description
When your fridge dispenses water and ice, replacing its filter is part of keeping that everyday routine on track. The LG LT700P is a genuine replacement filter listed with a six-month or 200-gallon capacity, and it is intended for compatible refrigerators rather than every fridge with a water dispenser.
It is designed to reduce lead, mercury, asbestos and benzene, and the listing says it is managed by LG Electronics Canada Ltd. Check your refrigerator’s model against the compatibility list before choosing it, matching the filter matters for fit and to avoid leakage.
Highlights
The key reasons to consider the LT700P are its stated contaminant reduction, its use for both drinking water and ice, and its defined replacement capacity. If your household regularly fills glasses from the fridge or uses its ice maker, one filter serves both parts of that routine. For example, it can be the replacement to consider when the current filter reaches its stated limit and you still want filtered water available at the door and ice in the freezer.
The listing gives two ways to understand the replacement interval: six months or 200 gallons. It does not explain how your household’s actual use affects that timing, so treat these as the stated capacity guidance rather than a guarantee that every home will replace it at the same point. The filter is manufactured in Korea. Its listed part numbers are ADQ36006101 and AGF80300702.
Best use cases
This is aimed at owners of a refrigerator that specifically supports the LT700P. It may suit you if you want a genuine LG replacement for the water and ice dispenser and the model compatibility list confirms your fridge. Compared with choosing a generic filter by appearance or broad claims of fit, matching the refrigerator model is the more useful way to narrow the choice here.
Keep in mind that the product name alone does not confirm compatibility with your particular refrigerator. Check the model list before ordering, an incorrect fit could lead to leakage. It won't suit you if your fridge is not listed as compatible, or if you need a filter with specifications or certifications that are not stated in this product information.
Tips for day-to-day use
Use the stated six-month or 200-gallon capacity as your replacement reference, and keep track of when the filter was changed if more than one person in the household uses the dispenser. Before buying, compare your refrigerator’s model with the manufacturer’s compatibility list, not just the shape or the part number shown on an old filter. The listed part numbers can also help identify whether you are looking at the intended replacement.
The description says the filter reduces lead, mercury, asbestos and benzene. It does not provide reduction percentages or further performance details, so avoid assuming that it removes other substances. With the information provided, the clearest buying decision is whether the fridge matches and whether the stated capacity suits your replacement routine.
Three specific questions
How often does the listing say to replace it? It states a capacity of six months or 200 gallons. The product details do not clarify how to adjust that guidance for different household usage.
What does the filter claim to reduce? Lead, mercury, asbestos and benzene are named. No reduction figures are provided.
How can you check whether it fits? Match your refrigerator’s model to the compatibility list in the product description. The listing warns that choosing an incompatible filter may cause leakage.
Is it worth it?
The LT700P is worth considering when your refrigerator is confirmed as compatible and you want a genuine replacement with a stated six-month or 200-gallon capacity for both water and ice. Its named reduction claims may also matter if those are the contaminants you are checking for. Choose another route if your fridge is not on the compatibility list or you need performance details beyond the claims provided, the listing does not give reduction percentages or broader filtration specifications.
