For dash cams, digital cameras and security cameras that need removable storage, the Lexar E-Series microSDXC card offers 128GB of space in a compact format. It also suits tablets, smartphones and gaming consoles that support microSD cards.

UHS-I technology supports read speeds of up to 100MB/s, while the card’s V30 and U3 ratings identify it for video recording use. That combination gives you a practical way to capture and move Full HD and 4K UHD media.

An included adapter adds flexibility when using the card with compatible equipment. Its A1 rating is designed to support app loading, making the card useful for more than storing photos and video.

With the adapter, it can be used with compatible equipment designed for an SD card, which is helpful when transferring files between devices.

For a dash cam, the 128GB capacity offers space for ongoing video storage, for a camera, it gives you room for photos and higher-resolution clips. A1 is relevant when the card is used for apps, while the U3 and V30 ratings are useful reference points for video-focused devices. Actual transfer speeds can vary with the host device and its interface.

Buyer feedback often praises the card’s storage, everyday functionality and use across cameras and other devices. Comments on reliability are mixed, so keep important recordings backed up rather than treating any removable card as the only copy of valuable files.

Practical tips

Check that your device accepts microSDXC cards before setting it up, then follow the device’s instructions for formatting and recording. For dash cams and security cameras, confirm the recording settings in the device menu so the card is ready for the intended video format. The included adapter is useful for transferring files through compatible card-reading equipment, store it with the card when it is not in use.

When moving large video files, the card’s stated read speed of up to 100MB/s provides a clear benchmark, but the connected device also affects transfer speed. If you record important footage, copying it to another storage location helps keep a separate copy available.
