Levoit NeoClassic 650S LUH-N651S-WCA Cool Mist Humidifier, 6.2 L

A 6.2 L top-fill tank means fewer interruptions for refills, while the Levoit NeoClassic 650S adds app and voice control for convenient humidity management. Its cool mist design is made for bedrooms, nurseries and larger living spaces.

With coverage listed for areas up to 536 ft² and runtime of up to 62 hours, it can support humidification through extended stretches between refills. Auto Mode uses a humidity sensor with ±5% accuracy to help maintain a comfortable level.

Quiet operation is rated at 26 dB on low and sleep settings. A blue light-safe night light, adjustable colour temperature and 360-degree rotating nozzle add practical options for bedtime and everyday room use.

Highlights

This ultrasonic humidifier combines a substantial tank with controls suited to different routines. Use the VeSync app, touch controls or voice control to adjust settings, and create Smart Scenes in the app to coordinate mist, lighting and music settings. For a bedroom, that means you can set up a quieter sleep environment, in a living room or office, app access offers another way to manage humidity without relying only on the touch panel.

The top-fill opening makes adding water straightforward, and the removable tank and detachable sink are designed to come apart for cleaning. The water-contact parts can be disassembled to reach areas that are harder to access in a one-piece design. The cover and detachable sink are dishwasher-safe, wash the tank and silencer cover by hand. For dishwasher cleaning, use a setting no higher than 70°C and avoid heated drying or sterilization cycles.

The aroma chamber provides a separate place for essential oils. Add the oil there rather than directly to the water tank. The manufacturer recommends purified or distilled water to help avoid white dust or possible humming.

Buyers often describe the unit as quiet and easy to fill, and report that it helps make dry-feeling air more comfortable. Feedback on performance and value is mixed, so the rated room coverage, controls and cleaning design are useful points to weigh against your own needs.

Everyday use

For overnight use in a bedroom or nursery, the low-noise setting, night light and extended runtime bring several useful features together. In a larger room, the listed coverage of up to 536 ft² and 360-degree nozzle give you flexibility in where you place and direct the mist. The 6.2 L tank and top-fill design are also practical for regular use when you would rather not refill frequently.

Compared with a simpler humidifier managed only at the unit, this model adds app and voice controls, Auto Mode and customizable Smart Scenes. It suits you if you want those controls alongside a large tank and an easy-to-access cleaning design, rather than choosing solely for basic mist output.

Getting the most from it

Place the humidifier where its mist can circulate through the room, then use Auto Mode to help regulate humidity or adjust settings through the app or touch controls. The sensor is rated for ±5% accuracy, giving Auto Mode a defined target for managing moisture without relying on constant manual changes. For a calming evening routine, the light settings and aroma chamber offer additional ways to tailor the atmosphere, use essential oils only in that chamber.

For upkeep, separate the detachable sink and cover for dishwasher cleaning as directed, and hand-wash the tank and silencer cover. This division makes it easier to include cleaning in a regular routine while keeping each component’s care method clear.
