Lamitocs Expanding File Folder, 13 Pockets

Loose paperwork is easy to misplace when everything ends up in one stack. This Lamitocs expanding file folder gives A4 documents separate pockets, so bills, letters and school papers can be sorted rather than shuffled through together.

Colourful tags make the sections easier to identify at a glance. The elastic-and-button closure helps keep the organiser shut when it is stored or carried.

It is designed for regular paperwork, not as a hard case for bulky objects. If your documents vary in thickness, the stated sheet capacity may not tell the whole story.

Best use cases

This A4 file organiser suits anyone who wants a simple way to divide loose documents by category. At home, you could give receipts, contracts and letters their own sections, at school or in an office, the pockets can separate different subjects, projects or types of paperwork. It is also described as suitable for travel, where a closure can help keep loose sheets together in a bag.

The coloured labels are useful when you want to find a section quickly without pulling out every page. What’s easier than reaching straight for a labelled pocket when you need one particular set of papers? The labels are included, though the product details do not specify a labelling system or pre-printed categories, so you can arrange them around your own filing habits.

Product specs

• Format: A4 expanding file folder
• Pockets: 13 individual sections
• Capacity: Up to 360 sheets, according to the product details
• Dimensions: 13” x 9.45” x 1.77”
• Material: PP, described as acid-free and PVC-free
• Colour: Black, with coloured label stickers
• Closure: Elastic string and button

The PP material is described as waterproof and moisture-resistant, and as resistant to breaking and deforming. Those properties may be useful for everyday document storage, but this is still a flexible file folder rather than a rigid protective case. The capacity is given as an upper limit, without paper-weight guidance, the number of sheets it holds in your own setup may vary with paper thickness.

Where it shines

The main advantage is straightforward organisation: 13 pockets offer more separation than a basic single-compartment document wallet, while the expandable design is intended to hold a larger collection of papers. That makes it a practical fit for paperwork that needs sorting but does not need to be kept in a filing cabinet. The tags also add a quick visual cue, rather than relying on memory or opening sections one by one.

It makes sense if you handle several kinds of loose documents and want them grouped in one portable organiser. It may be less suitable for oversized or bulky items, or if you need precise capacity information for a particular paper stock. The listed dimensions give a useful sense of its footprint, but the details do not state how far the folder expands when filled.

Final decision

Choose this Lamitocs expanding file folder if your priority is dividing A4 paperwork into labelled sections and keeping it together with an elastic closure. It offers more sorting space than a basic wallet and a less permanent approach than filing papers individually in a cabinet. Don’t choose it expecting rigid protection or a guaranteed sheet count for every paper thickness, its value is in accessible, everyday organisation, not specialist document storage.
