KYG HF007061 Dog Car Seat, Waterproof with Memory Foam and Two Cushions
Product description
Measuring 73.9 x 50.5 x 50.8 cm, the KYG HF007061 dog car seat gives a medium or large dog, or two small dogs, a cushioned place to settle in the car. Its memory foam base and raised design offer a dedicated resting spot, while the waterproof outer fabric helps protect the foam from spills.
Two interchangeable cushions add a practical touch: one has soft short-pile fabric for warmth, and the other uses a breathable, cool-feeling fabric. The seat can also be used as a pet bed or cushion at home.
What matters most
The seat is designed for dogs up to 55 lbs, with space for one medium or large dog or two small dogs. Its elevated position raises a pet by 4.8 inches (12 cm), giving them a better view out the window while they ride. Memory foam shapes to the dog’s body and helps absorb road bumps, making the seat a comfortable place to rest on everyday drives or longer trips.
For a steadier setup, the base has a non-slip texture and a strap that secures to the vehicle’s headrest. Two adjustable safety harnesses attach to your dog’s harness to help keep them in place. What makes this seat especially adaptable is the combination of car and home use: after a drive, it can serve as a familiar resting spot indoors. Buyers also speak positively about its appearance and comfort, noting the padding as a welcome part of the seat.
Care & maintenance
The cover is removable for cleaning. Unzip the bottom, take out the inner foam, then machine-wash the cover, the foam should not be washed. This keeps the care routine focused on the part that comes into contact with your pet while preserving the foam’s support. The waterproof outer fabric also helps keep the foam dry if water is spilled or a pet has an accident.
Practical tips
Measure your dog before choosing the seat, especially if you plan to use it for two small dogs. To install it, secure the strap around the vehicle headrest and attach the built-in adjustable harnesses to your dog’s harness. The non-slip base helps the seat stay in position during travel. After unpacking, leave the seat at room temperature for 24 to 48 hours so the compressed memory foam can regain its thickness before use.
Practical questions
Can two small dogs share the seat? Yes. It is designed for one medium or large dog, up to 55 lbs, or two small dogs. Measuring your pets helps you judge how they will fit together.
Can the seat be used outside the car? Yes. It converts into a pet bed or cushion for home use, giving your dog another place to rest between drives.
How do the two cushions differ? One has soft short-pile fabric for warmth, while the other has a breathable, cool-feeling fabric. They can be switched to suit the season or your pet’s comfort preference.
Is it worth it?
For pet owners looking for one cushioned spot for both car travel and home, the KYG HF007061 combines memory foam comfort, two interchangeable cushions and a securing system in a single seat. Its practical fit for one larger dog or two small dogs makes it a useful choice for shared drives, while the removable cover and convertible design help it work beyond the vehicle.
