KEZKALS multitool pen set, 9-in-1

For someone who likes keeping a pen and a few handy tools close by, this KEZKALS set brings two multitool pens together in a compact format. One is described as 9-in-1 and the other as 6-in-1, with functions including a twist ballpoint pen, ruler, flat and Phillips screwdrivers, bottle opener, phone stand, stylus, level and LED flashlight. The listing doesn’t map every function to each pen, so treat the set as a bundle of useful extras rather than a precise tool kit. It’s also positioned as a small gift for a dad, DIY-minded friend or anyone who appreciates practical desk or pocket gadgets.

Getting the most from it

The pens are designed for quick tasks between larger jobs: jot down a measurement, use the ruler, or make a small screwdriver adjustment without fetching a separate tool. For example, while assembling something at a desk, you could write a note, check a line with the level, then reach for the screwdriver stored in the pen. The front end twists to access the stylus and screwdriver, so the idea is to keep those functions together instead of carrying several loose items.

The set includes six extra black ink refills and three extra batteries, plus a black gift box. That gives you replacements for the writing and battery-powered features, though the details don’t specify battery type or which pen uses which functions. The body is described as aluminium, and its small size is intended to make it easy to keep in a pocket, backpack or office.

Why it’s worth it

The appeal is convenience, not replacing a proper toolbox. A regular pen handles notes, this adds small functions that may be useful when a bottle needs opening, a quick adjustment comes up or a touchscreen is more convenient to use with a stylus. If you prioritize having several occasional-use tools in one place, this is a more compact approach than carrying separate small gadgets. If you prefer a dedicated, full-size screwdriver or a pen chosen purely for writing comfort, a purpose-built alternative makes more sense.

There is a practical trade-off: these are pen-sized tools, so they’re suited to light, brief tasks rather than sustained work or stubborn fasteners. The product details also don’t explain how the listed functions are divided between the two pens. Based on the product details provided, it’s best to think of the set as a handy add-on for everyday carry or a desk drawer, not as a substitute for tools selected for a specific job.

Key features

• Two aluminium multitool pens: one described as 9-in-1 and one as 6-in-1.
• Listed functions include a twist ballpoint pen, ruler, flat and Phillips screwdrivers, bottle opener, phone stand, stylus, level and LED flashlight.
• Six extra black ink refills, three extra batteries and a black gift box are included.
• The front end twists to access the stylus and screwdriver.

The bottle opener is also described as able to act as a phone holder, which may be useful for hands-free viewing on a desk. Since the listing doesn’t provide dimensions or further operating details, don’t assume the pens will suit every grip, task or setup.

When to choose it

It makes sense if you want a gift that combines everyday writing with a few small, occasionally useful tools, or if you’d like to keep basic extras in a desk drawer or bag. The pair and included refills make the set feel more complete than a single novelty pen. It’s not for you if you need reliable full-size tools for regular repairs, or if your main priority is a straightforward pen with no added mechanisms. Choose it for convenience and variety, choose dedicated tools when the job calls for more than a quick adjustment.
