KATORN Dashboard Storage Tray for 8-inch Screens

The KATORN dashboard storage tray adds a dedicated spot behind the screen for small everyday items, keeping them easier to reach than when they’re tucked into a door pocket or centre console. It’s designed for Toyota Tacoma models from 2024 to 2026 and 4Runner models from 2025 to 2026, but only with an 8-inch screen. The tray is made from ABS and includes a non-slip silicone mat, four universal bolt interfaces are provided for compatible expansion accessories. Its appeal is practical rather than complicated: make use of dashboard space that might otherwise go unused.

Highlights

This is a shallow, open tray intended for small essentials such as a phone, sunglasses, wallet, coins, pens, cards or a walkie-talkie. For example, you could leave your sunglasses and a parking card there after getting into the truck, rather than searching through a bag when you’re ready to leave. The silicone mat is meant to help limit movement and noise, while the ABS construction provides a solid base for everyday use.

The four universal bolt interfaces offer room to add accessories such as a phone holder or camera. That gives the tray more flexibility than a basic drop-in pocket, although the listing doesn’t specify which expansion accessories are included. Te encaja si you want frequently used small items visible and close at hand without adding a larger storage unit to the cabin.

Best use cases

The main decision is vehicle and screen fit, not storage capacity. The listing names Toyota Tacoma SR, SR5, TRD PreRunner, Sport and Off-Road models from 2024 to 2026, plus 4Runner models from 2025 to 2026. In both cases, it is specified only for vehicles with an 8-inch screen. Keep in mind that the description gives no tray dimensions, so it’s difficult to judge how many items will fit or whether a particular phone will sit comfortably alongside other essentials.

For a commute, the open layout makes sense for items you reach for repeatedly. If your priority is keeping larger belongings out of sight, a covered compartment or another storage solution may suit you better. No te encajará si your vehicle has a different screen size or isn’t one of the listed model years, the fit restriction is specific, so don’t assume it works across other Tacoma or 4Runner configurations.

Tips for day-to-day use

Installation is described as tool-free: align the tray and insert it behind the screen. That should appeal if you’d rather avoid a more involved interior add-on, though take a moment to make sure it is seated as intended before loading it. Keep heavier or awkwardly shaped belongings elsewhere, this is presented as a tray for small daily items, not as a place to secure larger gear.

The mat should help reduce rattling as items move around, but it doesn’t turn the tray into a closed or lockable compartment. Treat it as accessible dashboard storage, and keep anything you don’t want on display in a more enclosed part of the vehicle.

Before you decide

Which vehicles is it listed for? Toyota Tacoma models from 2024 to 2026 and 4Runner models from 2025 to 2026, with an 8-inch screen.

What can it hold? The description gives examples including a phone, sunglasses, wallet, coins, pens, cards and a walkie-talkie, but doesn’t provide dimensions or a stated capacity.

Can it take add-on accessories? It has four universal bolt interfaces, with a phone holder and camera given as examples of possible additions. The listing doesn’t say that these accessories come with the tray.

Is it worth it?

If your vehicle and screen match the stated fit, this is a straightforward way to turn the space behind the display into an accessible place for small essentials. The mat, tool-free installation and accessory interfaces add practical detail beyond a plain storage pocket. The trade-off is that it’s open storage, with no listed dimensions or capacity to help plan what will fit. Buy it for quick access to a few everyday items, skip it if you need concealed storage, room for larger belongings or a fit outside the specified 8-inch-screen configurations.
