KAISITE 8006-6C Sputnik Chandelier, 6-Light Black and Gold, Adjustable Height

A distinctive ceiling light can help define a dining area, kitchen or foyer while providing useful downward illumination. The KAISITE 8006-6C brings a mid-century Sputnik shape together with a black and gold finish for a clear visual focal point.

Its six E26 sockets let you choose the bulbs to suit the room, and the hanging height can be adjusted with the included rods. That makes it easier to set the fixture at a suitable level for the space.

Choose a statement chandelier when you want the fixture itself to shape the room’s look, for a more understated approach, a simple ceiling light may be a better match. This design is intended for indoor settings, including bedrooms, dining rooms and kitchens.

Getting the most from it

Use the adjustable rods to set the drop that works for the ceiling and the area below. The fixture can be mounted on a sloped ceiling using its swivel, which helps accommodate angled ceiling surfaces. Its Sputnik arms spread the light sources around the centre, while the downlight orientation directs illumination into the room.

For a dining area, position the chandelier to make the table a natural focal point, in a foyer or living room, its black-and-gold profile adds a more decorative ceiling detail. It is hardwired, so installation involves connecting it to the ceiling wiring. Turn off the electricity before installation, and use a licensed electrician as directed in the installation guidance.

Strengths

Six medium-base E26 sockets give you flexibility to select compatible bulbs, with LED bulbs up to 40W each recommended. The fixture is dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, so you can tailor the light level to the activity—from everyday room lighting to a softer setting for dinner. The bulbs and dimmer switch are not included.

The black and gold colour combination and brushed finish suit interiors that call for a modern fixture with a mid-century influence. Buyer feedback often highlights its appearance and sturdy feel, opinions on its size vary, so consider how its scale will relate to the room and the surrounding furniture.
