Compatibility & requirements

For a direct transmitter-to-camera connection, the Mic Pro is listed as compatible with Insta360 X5, Ace Pro 2 and GO Ultra. The system also connects to mobile devices via USB-C or Lightning, and the package includes a USB-C phone adapter. For cameras with a 3.5 mm audio input, the included camera audio cable provides a connection option through the receiver. The two-transmitter setup suits conversations with two recorded voices, a transmitter can also pair with up to four receivers to send audio to multiple cameras simultaneously.

Everyday use

For a two-person vlog or interview, clip a transmitter to each speaker and connect the receiver to the recording device. Three pickup modes help adapt the capture direction to the scene, while internal 32-bit float recording provides a backup recording option on the transmitter. With the charging case, the stated operating time is up to 30 hours, making the kit practical for longer recording days. The E-Ink screen can display a creator’s logo or other custom graphic, adding a branded detail to a visible mic.

Compared with a basic one-transmitter setup, this kit is designed for recording two speakers and can distribute audio to additional receivers when a multi-camera arrangement is needed. Buyers often praise the sound, straightforward connection, ease of use and battery life. Feedback is mixed on the microphone’s size and on adjustment options, so those preferences may depend on the way you wear and configure your gear.
