Huiuhjirug 5' x 7' Shag Area Rug, Tie-Dye Grey, 35mm High Pile
Product description
A dense 35mm pile and 7mm sponge layer give this Huiuhjirug rug a cushioned feel underfoot and add warmth to a bedroom or reading corner. Its 5' x 7' rectangular size is intended for smaller rooms and defined areas. Would a plush surface suit the way you use that space? The tie-dye grey finish brings in a soft decorative accent without taking over the room.
Fit and sizing
At 5' x 7' (152 x 213 cm), this rug is described as a fit for areas paired with a loveseat up to 5' long, a full bed, a study desk or a piano. That makes it worth considering for a bedroom, study, nursery, playroom or compact living area where a larger rug could feel overwhelming. A practical placement might be beneath a desk or beside a full bed, creating a softer surface in a clearly defined part of the room.
The high pile is central to the feel of this rug: it is designed for a plush, sink-in surface rather than a low-profile finish. If you prefer a flatter look, a low-pile rug is a different approach, this one puts more emphasis on softness and cushioned comfort. Its stated use is indoors.
Strengths
The polyester shag construction combines a 35mm pile with a 7mm sponge layer, which can help soften the feel of a hard floor. A non-woven base with dotted anti-slip backing is intended to reduce movement on clean, dry floors. Grip can vary on very smooth hardwood, tile or laminate, so that detail matters when choosing a spot for it, particularly in a busy family area.
Care is presented as flexible: the rug is listed as machine washable, while low-power vacuuming or wiping with a damp cloth are suggested for routine clean-up. The care information also says hand washing can help maintain softness and extend the rug’s life. Customers’ comments are positive about the rug’s quality and perceived value, though those impressions are not a substitute for checking whether its pile, dimensions and care needs suit your room.

What to clarify
Is it machine washable? The product details list machine washing, but also say hand washing helps maintain softness and extend the rug’s life. Follow the care guidance supplied with the rug for your preferred cleaning method.
Will it stay in place on any floor? The dotted backing is intended to help reduce shifting on clean, dry floors. Grip may vary on very smooth hardwood, tile or laminate.
How does it arrive? It is vacuum packed and may have temporary creases, a light odour or a flatter appearance. The instructions suggest leaving it flat in a ventilated area for about 48 hours, then gently shaking, patting or brushing the pile to help it recover.
When it makes sense
Worth considering if you want a soft, high-pile surface in a defined indoor area and can accommodate its 5' x 7' footprint. The cushioning and plush texture make it a fit for spaces where comfort underfoot is a priority. Better avoided if you need dependable grip on a very smooth floor, since the stated backing performance can vary there. For this type of use, placement and floor condition are practical factors to weigh alongside the colour and size.
