Who it’s for

This dry food is made for cats over 11 years old, with nutrients selected to support key aspects of health in their senior years. The formula supports eye, heart, kidney and joint health, while high-quality protein helps maintain lean muscle. It’s a focused choice for households looking for food formulated specifically for an older cat, rather than a general adult recipe.

Why it’s worth it

A useful distinction is the combination of targeted nutrient support and ActivBiome+ Multi-Benefit, a blend of prebiotic fibres and antioxidants designed to support digestion, immune function and organ health. Natural ingredients and chicken flavour give the recipe a familiar meal profile, while the high-quality protein supports lean muscles. Hill’s also says its food is recommended by 9 out of 10 Canadian veterinarians.

Buyers commonly describe the food as well liked by their cats and share positive views about its perceived effectiveness. Experiences vary on digestion and kibble size, so individual cats may respond differently.
