GRANNY SAYS GS4006 6-Shelf Hanging Closet Organizer with Drawers, Black

Made from non-woven fabric, the GRANNY SAYS GS4006 adds six hanging shelves, five removable drawers and six mesh side pockets to your closet. Its open layout keeps clothing and smaller accessories in separate, easy-to-reach places, while the black finish gives the organizer a simple look that works in a bedroom, nursery or dorm room. Two sturdy metal hooks hang it inside a closet, making use of vertical space without adding a separate storage unit to the floor.

The drawers offer different ways to sort everyday items, from socks and underwear to clothing and accessories. For a setup focused on visible, grab-and-go storage, the open shelves are handy, for small pieces that tend to get mixed together, the divided drawer and side pockets add useful compartments.

Who it’s for

This hanging organizer is suited to anyone looking to bring more order to a closet, wardrobe or dorm room. Use the shelves for folded shirts, sweaters, towels or bedding, then place smaller items in the drawers and mesh pockets. The drawer assortment includes a large drawer, a drawer with a removable divider, a 12-cell drawer and two smaller side-by-side drawers. That mix makes it easier to give socks, underwear, belts and other accessories their own place instead of stacking them together.

The open fronts make stored items visible and straightforward to reach. Buyers often appreciate the extra closet organization, especially the sock-sorting compartments, and describe the organizer as practical for adding storage. Some find its profile narrow, while feedback on value varies, its appeal is in combining hanging shelves with several dedicated spaces for smaller items.

Why it’s worth it

Rather than relying on a single open shelf or adding a freestanding drawer unit, the GS4006 combines both approaches in one hanging format. Five removable fabric drawers help separate small belongings, while six mesh pockets provide quick access to items such as ties, belts, slippers or socks. The shelves can also hold folded clothing and linens, so one organizer can serve several storage needs within the same closet.

The structure is designed with a sturdy MDF board at the top and reinforced PP boards in the shelves. Metal hooks on both sides help spread the load, and the stated maximum weight capacity is 15 kg. To set it up, unfold the organizer, hang it using the included hooks and place the drawers on the shelves where they suit your sorting needs. For care, wipe the fabric with a damp cloth.

When it makes sense

Choose this format when closet storage needs to do more than hold folded clothes. The combination of shelves, removable drawers and mesh pockets is useful for separating garments from smaller essentials in a bedroom, nursery or dorm. If you want hanging storage that brings folded items and accessories together, the GS4006 makes vertical closet space more organized and convenient to use.
