GOCAN mchr-rd Hammock Chair, Blue-Green Polycotton with Metal Spreader Bar

The metal spreader bar holds the hammock chair open, creating a wide fabric seat for stretching out and relaxing. Its blue-green polycotton design suits a range of indoor and outdoor spaces, from a bedroom or living room to a porch, balcony or cottage.

A removable spreader bar and compact folded size make it practical to store or take along when plans call for a change of scenery.

Best use cases

Use this hanging chair as a relaxed alternative to an upright patio chair or a fixed indoor seat. Its single-person fabric bed is made for settling back with a book, taking a quiet break or putting your feet up. The spreader bar helps keep the seat open, giving you room to sit comfortably rather than gathering the fabric around you.

Hang it in a suitable spot in the backyard, on a porch or balcony, or indoors in a bedroom or living room. A 3 m tree rope is included for hanging from a tree branch, while the carrying bag makes the chair easier to bring along. Choose a secure overhead support appropriate for a hanging seat and set it up according to the intended location.

Where it shines

The open, suspended seat brings a different kind of comfort to a space than a conventional chair: it is designed for leaning back and unwinding, not just sitting upright at a table. The wide seat and spreader bar support that laid-back use, whether you are making a calm reading corner indoors or adding a spot to relax outside.

Want a seat that can move between a quiet corner and an outdoor hangout? The chair folds down to a compact size, and the included bag helps with carrying and storage. For outdoor use, the tree rope offers a practical way to hang it from a suitable branch, indoors, it can be set up wherever there is an appropriate overhead support.

Buyers frequently highlight the comfortable feel and roomy seat, along with the fabric and stitching. Some also appreciate that hanging it is straightforward. These are user impressions rather than a substitute for choosing an appropriate support and following safe setup practices.

Should you buy it?

Worth considering if you want a dedicated lounging seat that works in more than one setting. It is particularly suited to anyone creating a relaxed spot for reading, resting or enjoying a slower afternoon on a porch, balcony or indoors.
