Genesis II Stainless Steel Grill Grates
Product description
What to know
If you need replacement cooking grates for a Weber Genesis II 300-series gas grill, this two-pack is aimed at restoring the cooking surface without changing the grill itself. Each grate measures 18.8 x 13.25 inches, together, the pair covers 18.8 x 26.5 inches. They’re made from solid stainless steel, with rods listed at 7 mm in diameter.
That size and material make these a practical choice for replacing worn or missing grates, rather than a general-purpose upgrade for any barbecue. The product details name a range of Genesis II and Genesis II LX 300-series models, plus several 2022 Genesis models. Keep in mind that model names can be similar while the parts differ: check your grill’s exact model number and compare the dimensions before ordering. The compatibility list also mentions some other grills, but does not provide enough detail to confirm every similar-sized model.
How to use it
These are cooking grates, so they sit where food rests above the burners. Once you’ve confirmed the fit, the two separate pieces cover the stated cooking area. For a typical meal, that could mean placing vegetables on one side and burgers on the other, with the grate rods helping keep food from dropping through. The listing describes the rods as closely spaced, but gives no spacing measurement, so very small ingredients may still need a grill basket.
The package includes two grates. No installation instructions or cleaning guidance are provided in the product details, so don’t assume that tools, hardware, or care accessories are included.
Practical tips
Before deciding, use the model number on your grill—not just “Genesis”—as your reference. Compare it with the models named for this product, then check whether your existing grates match the stated 18.8 x 13.25-inch dimensions. This matters especially if your barbecue is a Genesis II LX, a smart-grill version, or a newer Genesis model, since the fit list includes several closely named variants.
The stainless-steel construction may suit buyers replacing traditional grates who want a solid-metal cooking surface. The product description says the rods are thicker than traditional grates and less prone to rust, but it does not provide independent test results or a warranty. If you’re choosing between a replacement grate and a full grill upgrade, this set only addresses the cooking surface, it won’t replace other worn components.

Is it right for you?
Puede interesarte si you have a listed Genesis II or Genesis II LX 300-series grill and need a two-piece replacement cooking surface in stainless steel. Puede no ser la mejor opción si you can’t verify your grill’s exact model or need a grate with documented care instructions, installation hardware, or confirmed fit for a model not named in the details. For a compatible grill, the dimensions and two-piece format give you specific checks to make before choosing, for an unlisted barbecue, matching the general size alone is not enough to establish fit.
