FINICO AK-SR99800-G1 Rechargeable LED Headlamp, USB-C, IPX7, 12 Modes

Some tasks call for a broad pool of light, others are easier with a focused beam aimed where you’re working. The FINICO AK-SR99800-G1 headlamp switches between flood and focus settings, with zoom adjustment to shape the beam. Its USB-C charging and adjustable, padded headband support hands-free use at camp, on a trail or during repairs.

What to know

The headlamp offers 12 lighting modes, including high, medium, low, flash and SOS in both flood and focus states. A red steady light and flashing red light on the battery case add visibility options for night-time activities. Rather than carrying a separate flashlight in your hand, you can direct the light by turning your head and keep both hands available for tasks such as setting up camp, handling fishing gear or making a repair.

The zoomable beam gives you a choice between wider illumination and a more concentrated spot, while the lamp angle can be adjusted up to 125° to aim light at your immediate work area. The body is aluminium and rated IPX7 waterproof, making the headlamp suitable for outdoor use where wet conditions are part of the activity. USB-C charging makes it rechargeable, and its USB output can be used to charge a cell phone or other device during an outdoor emergency. A power display indicates the remaining charge.

The stated runtime is up to 95 hours on low mode. Buyers praise the brightness and beam adjustment, while feedback on battery life is mixed, the advertised runtime is a low-mode figure, so the selected setting matters when planning a longer outing. Some buyers also comment that the headlamp feels heavy, a useful consideration when choosing gear for extended wear.

Size & fit

An adjustable headband and padded forehead area help position the lamp securely and comfortably. The 125° pivot lets you direct the beam down towards a nearby task or further ahead without changing your stance. For a practical setup, adjust the strap so the lamp stays in place, then angle it to match what you’re doing—such as looking down at a map or lighting a campsite work surface. Its head-mounted design keeps your hands free while you move or work.

Best use cases

This headlamp is suited to camping, hiking, climbing, fishing and night-time work, as well as home repairs where a handheld light would get in the way. Use the flood setting to light a broader area around a tent or workbench, then switch to focus when you need a narrower beam. The adjustable angle is handy when alternating between walking and close-up tasks, and the SOS or flashing modes provide additional light settings for outdoor use. For a hard hat setup, the product listing identifies hard-hat clips among the included components.

Compared with choosing a simple fixed-beam headlamp, the FINICO offers both flood and focus options, plus multiple modes and a USB output. That combination makes sense when one light needs to cover different activities, from navigating outdoors to handling a hands-on task. A solid pick if you want rechargeable, hands-free lighting with an adjustable beam and a USB output for occasional device charging.

Is it worth it?

Choose the FINICO AK-SR99800-G1 when you want one head-mounted light for outdoor outings and practical work, with the flexibility to change beam shape and angle as the task changes. Its padded adjustable fit, multiple lighting modes, IPX7 waterproof rating and USB-C charging bring useful features together for camping, night walks and repairs. The USB output adds another practical use when access to a power source is limited.
