DJI Mic Mini Transmitter DMMT01, Arctic White, 10 g Wireless Microphone

What stands out

Creators who want clearer voice audio without a bulky on-camera setup get a discreet, single-transmitter microphone in the DJI Mic Mini Transmitter. It weighs 10 g and comes in Arctic White, with a clip magnet for wearing it on clothing. Its compact size makes it easy to add to a solo filming kit for vlogs, interviews, streaming or everyday video.

The omnidirectional microphone picks up sound from around the transmitter, while two noise-cancelling levels let you tailor voice capture to the setting. Basic mode is suited to quieter indoor spaces, Strong mode is designed for noisier surroundings. Automatic limiting helps reduce clipping when audio input gets too loud, so changes in speaking volume are easier to manage while recording.

Highlights

Connect the transmitter directly to a phone over Bluetooth, or use it with supported DJI OsmoAudio devices without a receiver. Compatible devices listed for direct OsmoAudio connection include Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo Action 4 and Action 5 Pro. The supported range also includes Osmo Pocket 4, Osmo Pocket 4P, Osmo Action 6, Osmo 360, Osmo 360 II, Osmo Nano, and Osmo Mobile 7, 7P, 8 and 8P. Connecting with Osmo Mobile series products requires the first-generation DJI OM Multifunctional Module. Direct OsmoAudio connection delivers 48 kHz, 24-bit audio.

For a day of short shoots, the transmitter’s stated maximum operating time is 8 hours. The package includes the Arctic White transmitter, a charging dock, clip magnet, compact carrying pouch, two windscreens and a USB-C charging cable. Buyers often highlight the compact form, straightforward pairing with compatible DJI equipment and clearer-sounding voices, these comments reflect individual experiences, while actual results depend on the recording setup and surroundings.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose Basic noise cancellation for a quieter room and Strong for a noisier location. The included windscreens offer a practical accessory for outdoor recording, and the clip magnet gives you a simple way to position the transmitter on clothing. For a walking vlog or a quick interview, attach the mic near the speaker, select the noise-cancelling level for the environment and connect to a compatible phone or Osmo device before recording.

Compared with assembling a two-transmitter kit for multiple speakers, this single transmitter is a straightforward fit for solo recording. Its direct connection with supported Osmo devices can also keep a compatible camera setup more compact by removing the need for a receiver.

Buying verdict

For solo creators who want a small wireless mic for phone videos or a compatible DJI Osmo setup, the Mic Mini Transmitter combines a 10 g design, selectable noise cancellation and direct device connections in one compact unit. It suits vlogging, interviews and streaming when a wearable microphone is more practical than building a larger multi-mic kit.
