Cordless stick vacuum, Indigo Purple

If you want a quick way to pick up everyday dust without dragging a cord from room to room, this cordless stick vacuum is aimed at that kind of routine. Its motorised brush head and handheld conversion give it more flexibility than a basic floor-only sweeper.

The product listing gives its weight as 5.5 lb, making one-handed touch-ups a stated use case. It also lists two suction settings, with up to 40 minutes on low and 20 minutes on high.

If you prioritise cordless convenience for small, frequent clean-ups, its setup may suit you, if you prefer longer uninterrupted sessions, the shorter high-power runtime matters.

Where it shines

This Comvtu vacuum is designed to move between hard floors, tile, wood, carpets and rugs. That range makes it useful for a quick pass through a kitchen, then a few crumbs along the edge of a rug, without switching to a separate floor tool. The motorised head has LED lights to help reveal dust in dim spots, and the listing says it swivels 150° sideways and 90° up and down for manoeuvring around furniture.

It can also convert to a handheld vacuum for above-floor jobs. The included 2-in-1 crevice brush is intended for areas such as sofas, beds and stairs, so a small clean-up need not mean bringing out a second appliance. The 0.5 L dust container has a one-click release, a practical detail if you want to empty it without handling the collected debris directly.

What to know

The stated 40-minute runtime applies to low suction, high suction is listed at up to 20 minutes. That distinction is worth factoring in if your routine involves more than spot cleaning, since using the stronger setting throughout would mean a shorter session. The 0.5 L container also favours regular emptying over collecting debris from a large clean in one go.

The product description specifies a sealed cyclone system and a washable, reusable HEPA filter. It also makes particle-capture claims, but those figures come from the listing rather than independent test information provided here. The removable battery can be charged separately, according to the description, charging time and replacement-battery details are not given.

Its 5.5 lb listed weight and handheld conversion are appealing for carrying between rooms or cleaning a stair tread at a time. Still, a cordless stick format is a different choice from a larger, corded vacuum intended for longer, more demanding whole-home sessions. It suits you if easy movement and quick jobs come first. It is not for you if you need a stated long high-suction runtime or a larger dust container.

Best use cases

This is most at home in a smaller living space, for regular pickups on mixed floor surfaces, or for brief clean-ups around furniture and stairs. Picture sweeping up crumbs after breakfast, then using the crevice tool along a sofa seam before putting the vacuum away. Those are the kinds of jobs its cordless design and handheld mode are set up to handle.

The listing describes the filter as washable and reusable, but does not provide cleaning intervals or care instructions. Follow the instructions supplied with the vacuum rather than assuming how often the filter should be washed or how long it must dry.

To wrap up

Choose this stick vacuum if moving freely between floors and using one appliance for quick floor and above-floor clean-ups are your priorities. Its two suction modes give you a choice between a longer low-power session and a shorter high-power one. Given its design, the main trade-off is clear: up to 20 minutes on high suction and a 0.5 L dust container may not suit extended cleaning or a larger home.
