COOLMUSIC BP-40 Portable Acoustic Guitar Amplifier, 40W, Bluetooth
Product description
Three input channels let you connect different instruments and a microphone, so one amplifier can support more than a guitar-only setup. The COOLMUSIC BP-40 delivers 40 watts and includes Bluetooth for wireless audio connection. Its built-in reverb and two-band balance give you ways to shape your sound. Battery power makes it practical for practice and performances away from a power outlet.
Quick overview
The BP-40 is a portable acoustic guitar amplifier with an 8-inch speaker and a rechargeable battery. Its three channels can accommodate combinations such as a guitar, piano keyboard and microphone, making it useful for solo performers who want to bring several sources into one setup. A two-band balance control and built-in reverb add straightforward sound-shaping options, from adjusting the tone to adding an echo-like effect.
Bluetooth provides a wireless connection option, while phone, CD/MP3 and USB connections give you other ways to play audio. Master control, a headphone input and a DI output support different practice and performance arrangements. At 7.89 kg, it can be carried between practice spaces or set up for a performance without making a larger fixed amplifier the centre of your gear.
Tips for day-to-day use
Choose battery power when your setup needs to move, or connect the amplifier directly to electricity when an outlet is available. The battery is specified for up to 5–8 hours of use, depending on volume, and charging takes 5 hours. Planning around those figures can help you prepare for a rehearsal or performance, louder use affects how long the battery runs.
For a multi-source setup, connect the instruments and microphone you want to use across the three channels, then use the master control to manage the overall output. Bluetooth or the other audio connections can bring in playback, while the headphone input offers a personal listening option. If you need to send a signal onward, the DI output provides an additional connection. For a simpler guitar-only routine, the same amplifier also offers reverb and two-band balance without requiring a multi-speaker or larger stage system.
Who it’s for
This amplifier suits acoustic guitarists who want a battery-powered setup for practice, solo performance or live use, as well as performers combining guitar with a keyboard or microphone. Its multiple channels make it a practical alternative to building a setup around separate amplification for each source. Bluetooth and the phone, CD/MP3 and USB options are also useful when playback is part of a practice session or performance.
Worth considering if you need one portable amplifier for instruments and vocals, with battery operation for locations where plugging in is not part of the setup.
