Brightown GP-SW290DC0209-IP44(US)A Curtain Lights, 300 LEDs, Warm White

Create a softly lit backdrop for a bedroom, window or indoor gathering with Brightown’s warm white curtain lights. The 300 LEDs provide a decorative spread of light, while the remote lets you adjust the brightness and lighting effect from where you are. Choose a simple steady glow or a moving effect to suit the occasion.

Technical overview

The lights use warm white LEDs with a stated colour temperature of 2700 K. Their 9.8 ft length makes them a practical format for adding a light feature to a wall or window area without arranging separate strands one by one. The copper-wire drop strings are flexible, so they can hang naturally or be shaped to suit your display.

There are eight lighting modes: combination, waves, sequential, slow glow, chasing, slow fade, twinkle and steady on. Brightness can be set to 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% or 100%, giving you control over the feel of the space, from a gentler evening backdrop to a brighter decorative display. A memory function retains the last lighting setting.

The set is USB powered, and the remote operates the lighting modes, brightness and timer. The timer provides a 6-hour on and 18-hour off schedule. A CR2032 battery for the remote is included. The curtain itself is not included, these are the lights to hang over a curtain or another suitable display area.

Usage tips

For a bedroom feature, hang the strands across the chosen area, then use the remote to select a steady setting and comfortable brightness. For a party or seasonal display, a twinkle or chasing effect can add movement, while the timer can manage the regular on-and-off schedule. USB power also gives you the option of using a computer, power bank or USB interface as the source.

The product is listed for indoor use and has an IP44 rating. If using the lights where moisture may be present, keep the plug area away from water. Hang the strands without pulling them, this helps keep the flexible wires from tangling. The lights are supplied as a lighting set, so plan the display around a curtain or other hanging surface you already have.

Best use cases

These lights suit anyone looking to create a broad, warm-lit backdrop rather than place individual fairy lights around a room. A bedroom wall or window can become a softly illuminated focal point, while the adjustable brightness makes it easier to set a subdued atmosphere without changing the arrangement. For a gathering, the range of effects offers a more animated look than a fixed-glow string.

Buyer feedback commonly highlights the attractive appearance, straightforward hanging and useful brightness and mode choices. Opinions are more mixed on reliability and remote performance, so the remote’s operation is not a universal point of praise. For a display where convenient control matters, the remote, timer and retained settings are practical features to weigh alongside the visual effect.

Final verdict

Brightown’s curtain lights bring together 300 warm white LEDs, flexible hanging strands and several ways to tailor the look. They’re well suited to indoor bedroom, window and party décor when you want a curtain-style field of light with remote dimming and a scheduled timer. Choose them for a decorative backdrop that can shift from a steady glow to a more animated effect without rearranging the strands.
