Blukar K9156 Rechargeable Camping Lantern, 116 LEDs, 7 Modes

For campers who need flexible light around a tent or campsite, the Blukar K9156 combines a 360° beam with a foldable design that can shift from a compact lantern to a wider-area light. Its 116 LEDs produce warm white light, with a maximum output of 2,000 lumens for evening camp tasks, power outages and other low-light situations.

The built-in rechargeable battery and hanging options make it easy to place light where it is useful, whether on a tent hook or a branch.

Who it’s for

This lantern suits campers, hikers and anglers looking for a portable light that can adapt to different spots and tasks. Keep it folded for a more concentrated lantern-style beam, or open its four side panels outward by 90° to spread light across a broader area. The hook and included climbing buckle offer practical ways to hang it in a tent or at a campsite, freeing your hands for setting up gear or preparing a meal.

It also has a place at home as emergency lighting for a garage or basement. For outdoor use, plan to keep the lantern sheltered from rain: it is not water resistant.

What you’ll notice day to day

Choose from seven modes: high or low side light, high or low bottom light, full high light, full-light strobe, and red SOS. This range lets you adjust the light to the task, from illuminating a tent to signalling in an emergency. The 360° beam and warm white 3000K light are designed to provide broad, even illumination, while the stated maximum output is 2,000 lumens.

A built-in 4,800 mAh battery supports up to 10 hours of use after a full charge. Four LED indicators show the remaining power, helping you decide when it is time to recharge. USB-C recharging keeps the lantern ready for repeat outings, and a USB-C cable is included. At 394 g, it is portable enough to pack with camping gear without relying on disposable battery changes.

If you’re choosing between a fixed-form lantern and one that can open out for wider coverage, which layout better suits your campsite? The K9156’s hinged side lights offer both a folded lantern shape and an expanded hanging-light setup in one unit.
