AXUAXU MJ01 Wireless Lavalier Microphone with LED Display and USB-C
Product description
A phone’s built-in microphone works for quick clips, but a clip-on lavalier gives you a dedicated way to capture your voice while you record. The AXUAXU MJ01 is a compact wireless microphone for videos, podcasts, interviews and vlogs.
Its LED display shows device information, including low-battery alerts, so you can check its status during a recording session. Noise reduction and a unidirectional pickup pattern are designed to help keep the focus on the speaker.
Connect through USB-C, Lightning or USB-A, depending on your device and the included connection options. It works with smartphones, tablets and computers without an app or Bluetooth pairing.
How it fits
Clip the microphone near the speaker and connect its receiver to a compatible phone, tablet or computer to record voice-led content. This setup suits short interviews, talking-head videos and podcast segments where the person speaking may move naturally rather than stay beside a phone. For example, when filming a tutorial on a phone, the clip-on mic can stay with the presenter while the phone captures the video.
The listed connection options cover USB-C and Lightning devices as well as a USB-A computer connection. The plug-in setup avoids a separate Bluetooth pairing step, making it straightforward to move from preparing a recording to capturing audio. The wireless link is specified for transmission up to 20 m with no obstruction, giving the speaker room to move within that stated condition.
Why it makes sense
The MJ01 combines a small lapel-style microphone with practical recording controls. Its LED display makes battery status easier to check, while the mute function offers a direct way to silence the mic when you need a pause. Noise reduction and unidirectional pickup are useful features for spoken content, where keeping attention on the speaker matters more than capturing sound evenly from every direction.
Four windscreens are included for the microphone. They provide a ready-to-use accessory for recording in different everyday settings, such as a home video or an on-the-go interview. The compact format also makes the mic easy to carry with a phone or tablet recording kit.
Buyer feedback often praises the simple setup, while opinions on sound quality and connectivity are mixed. Some buyers also report concerns about durability. These experiences are worth weighing alongside the intended recording setup, the mic’s plug-in connections and display make its operating approach clear.
