AMHANCIBLE C-shaped side tables HET04CGY

What matters most

If you want a place to charge devices and keep everyday bits close while sitting on the sofa, this set of two C-shaped side tables brings both functions together. The design slides under a couch, while the top can serve as a spot for a drink, a device or a laptop. A charging station is built in, with two AC outlets, one USB port and one Type-C port, plus a 4.9 ft power cord. The listing doesn’t clarify how those connections are divided between the two tables, so it’s worth confirming the arrangement if you expect charging at both seats.

Storage is built into the side rather than taking up more floor space: six pockets across three tiers are described for tablets or magazines, notebooks, and smaller items such as remotes and keys. The frame is thickened carbon steel, with an engineered-board top and blackened matte steel finish. The top panel and middle layer panel are FSC-certified.

Best use cases

These tables make most sense beside a sofa or bed where a conventional end table would be awkward, or where you’d rather keep a charging cable and frequently used items within reach. Picture settling in with a tablet on the top, a notebook in a pocket and the remote tucked away instead of spread across the cushions. The set’s two-table format could also suit two nearby spots, though the shared charging details aren’t specified.

Keep in mind that no table dimensions are provided here. The C-shaped design is intended to slide under furniture, but whether it fits your sofa depends on the clearance beneath it. It suits you if you want compact side storage and built-in charging in one setup. It won’t suit you if you need confirmed measurements before choosing, or a larger surface for several items at once.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the pockets for items you reach for often, rather than treating them as deep storage, the listing gives examples such as magazines, notebooks, phones and keys, but not pocket dimensions. The adjustable non-slip feet are intended to help steady the frame and protect floors, which may be useful on surfaces that aren’t perfectly even. The tables are described as portable, and all assembly tools and labelled parts are included with instructions.

For a laptop session, the top can act as a nearby workstation while the charging ports keep a device within reach of power. The supplied cord is 4.9 ft, so think about where your outlet is in relation to the sofa before settling on a position. This isn’t a substitute for a full desk or a wide coffee table, its appeal is keeping a small work or lounging setup close at hand.

Three specific questions

How many charging connections are listed? The product description names two AC outlets, one USB port and one Type-C port. It doesn’t say whether these are on one table or split between the pair.

What can the side pockets hold? The examples given are tablets or magazines, notebooks, and smaller items such as remotes, phones and keys. Exact pocket sizes aren’t provided.

Does it arrive assembled? No. The listing says assembly is required and that labelled parts, tools and instructions are included.

Is it worth it?

This set is a practical fit if your priority is keeping a few essentials and charging access beside a sofa without adding a conventional end table. The combination of pockets, outlets and a C-shaped frame is more useful for a compact lounge setup than a basic side table with only a bare top. The missing dimensions and unclear distribution of the charging connections are real drawbacks, though. Choose it when the under-sofa clearance and charging layout work for your room, look for a simpler table if you mainly need a larger, uninterrupted surface.
