Alrigon Red 6-Inch Cordless Orbital Buffer, Brushless Motor, 6 Speeds

Some detailing calls for a gentle pass to spread wax, other jobs need more speed for polishing or surface cleanup. This cordless orbital buffer offers adjustable speed for both kinds of work.

Its 6-inch backing plate and selection of foam, buffer and wool pads support car and boat care, including work across curved surfaces.

The brushless motor and Milwaukee M18 battery compatibility make it a practical choice for polishing away from a power cord. The battery is not included.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose a speed to suit the task: the lower settings are intended for waxing and buffing, while the middle range is suited to polishing and cleaning. Higher settings are intended for paint-defect and oxidation removal. Starting with a slower setting for wax application gives you more control as you work across a panel, a faster setting can be selected when the task calls for it.

The 6-inch orbital format is useful for detailing broader areas of a car or boat, while the included pad selection helps adapt the tool to different polishing tasks and curved surfaces. For a typical vehicle-care session, you could apply wax with a suitable pad, then change pads for polishing work. The cordless design lets you move around the vehicle without managing a power cord. Use it with a compatible Milwaukee M18 battery, which must be supplied separately.

What stands out

Six speed settings cover a stated range of 2,500 to 5,500 RPM, giving you options for applying wax, polishing and surface cleanup. The brushless motor is designed for efficient operation, and the 9 mm random orbital motion provides the action for polishing and waxing. Together, these features make the buffer useful for routine detailing as well as tasks such as working on oxidation or paint defects.

The package includes a backing plate and a variety of foam, buffer and wool pads, along with sandpaper and a towel. A detachable handle and hex wrench are also listed. This range of accessories gives you different contact materials for detailing work without relying on a single pad for every surface.

Buyer feedback is positive about the tool’s perceived quality, while reports on battery fit and power are mixed. The stated compatibility is with Milwaukee M18 batteries, so match the battery to that system when setting up the tool. The buffer is supplied as a tool only, with no battery included.
