ALEXPEX AL-SL-G40-60FT-25 Solar String Lights, G40, Dimmable, 2200K

Add warm evening light to a backyard dinner, garden gathering or balcony seating area with these 60-foot solar string lights. The G40 Edison-style LED bulbs give off a 2200K warm-white glow. Want lighting that can follow the mood of the evening? Use the remote to adjust brightness, choose a lighting mode or set a timer.

How to use it

Hang the linear string along a fence, pergola, gazebo or patio seating area to define the space with a soft, vintage-inspired glow. The solar panel can charge in direct sunlight, and a Type-C port offers another charging method when needed. A dusk-to-dawn sensor switches the lights on at dusk and off at dawn, while the battery-level display helps you keep track of charging status.

The remote lets you change brightness and lighting modes, set a 2-, 4-, 6- or 8-hour timer, and return to the last-used brightness and mode with the memory function. You can also operate the lights using the buttons on the solar panel. For a shared outdoor space, this means you can adjust the atmosphere without having to reach along the string to control the lights.

Pros

A 2200K colour temperature creates a warm, inviting tone for relaxed dinners, celebrations and everyday outdoor seating. Dimmable brightness and selectable modes make it easier to tailor the light to the occasion, from a gentle evening setting to brighter illumination for a gathering. The remote and timer add convenient control, while the memory function saves your previous settings.

The bulbs and string are described as shatterproof and waterproof, with an IP65 rating for outdoor use. Their plastic construction offers a practical alternative to glass bulbs in areas where the string may be exposed to everyday bumps. Solar charging and Type-C charging provide two ways to replenish the battery, and the dusk-to-dawn sensor automates daily on-and-off operation.
