SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5P Wireless (61673) Gaming Headset, 60-hour battery

More than 100 game audio presets let you tailor the sound to what you’re playing, so key details can be brought forward without leaving the game. The Arctis Nova 5P Wireless pairs those app-based profiles with custom neodymium magnetic drivers for gaming on PS5, PS4, PC, Switch and mobile.

Switch between 2.4GHz wireless for gaming and Bluetooth 5.3 for calls or media with a tap. That makes it practical when your headset needs to move between a console session and your mobile phone, rather than staying tied to one connection.

A stated 60-hour battery life supports extended play, while USB-C fast charging provides up to six hours of use from a 15-minute charge. The retractable ClearCast 2.X microphone and onboard controls round out a headset designed for everyday gaming and quick adjustments.

Why it makes sense

The Arctis Nova 5P is suited to players who want more control over game sound than a headset with a single fixed profile. Its Companion App offers more than 100 presets for games including Fortnite, Apex Legends, Minecraft, GTA V, FIFA and Call of Duty. Choose a profile to shape the listening experience around a game, then keep playing without needing to leave it to adjust settings.

The custom neodymium magnetic drivers are designed to deliver clear highs, defined mids and deep bass. In a busy match, that detailed sound profile gives you a way to hear the different layers of game audio, while the app presets provide another level of personalisation. For voice chat, the retractable ClearCast 2.X mic uses a high-bandwidth chipset supporting 32 kHz/16-bit audio.

A single wireless mode can suit a setup that stays focused on one device, the Nova 5P offers a choice between 2.4GHz gaming and Bluetooth 5.3 instead. Switch from a console or PC session to a mobile call or media with a button press, with notification beeps for incoming calls while gaming. Customer feedback is positive about battery life, build and wireless connection, while opinions on sound and microphone quality vary. Those are useful points to weigh alongside the headset’s adjustable audio options and connection flexibility.
