ZURU T-Rex Candy Surprise Egg

Smash-open packaging turns this T-Rex candy egg into an activity, not just a toy reveal: it promises more than 25 surprises, including candy, a hidden mini dinosaur figure, and a stretchable Slam Hero. That mix gives the unboxing a few different payoffs rather than relying on a single collectible.

The fun is in opening it and discovering what’s tucked inside. It’s aimed at kids who enjoy surprise toys and sweet treats, though the candy makes ingredient details worth checking before you hand it over.

Key specifications

This is a dinosaur-themed surprise egg with more than 25 surprises to uncover. The listed finds include Gumi Yum treats, candy, a Slam Hero, and a lollipop with a hidden mini dino figure. The Slam Hero is described as stretching up to 4x its size, adding a hands-on toy element to the edible surprises.

The combination matters if you’re choosing between a straightforward figure and a more involved reveal. Here, the egg, treats, and character are all part of the activity. On the other hand, the product details don’t name the specific candy flavors or provide ingredient information, so there’s not enough here to judge those details for a child’s preferences or dietary needs.

Who it’s for

It suits you if you’re shopping for a tween or a dinosaur fan who likes opening surprise toys and getting more than one kind of reveal. The sequence is easy to picture: smash open the egg, sort through the surprises, try the candy, then stretch the Slam Hero or check the lollipop for its hidden figure. That gives the unboxing something to do after the first reveal, too.

You may want to skip it if your priority is a known, specific toy rather than surprise contents, or if you need confirmed candy ingredients before buying. The appeal depends on enjoying the reveal and being comfortable with edible treats as part of the package. For a child who mainly wants a durable dinosaur figure, a conventional toy with a clearly identified character may be a better fit.

Included in the package

The product description identifies a Slam Hero, Gumi Yum treats, candy, and a lollipop containing a hidden mini dinosaur figure, alongside the surprise egg itself. It promises more than 25 surprises, but doesn’t provide a full item-by-item breakdown. Treat the named contents as a guide to the concept, not a guarantee of particular flavors or figure designs.

The stretch feature is a point of difference from an egg that contains only small collectibles. The Slam Hero can stretch up to 4x its size, without that measurement, though, it’s hard to picture its actual starting size or how substantial it will feel in hand. The listing also doesn’t specify how the egg opens beyond describing it as something to smash open.

Practical doubts

What kinds of surprises are mentioned? The description names candy, Gumi Yum treats, a Slam Hero, and a lollipop with a hidden mini dino figure. It also states that there are more than 25 surprises overall, without listing every item.

Does the Slam Hero stretch? Yes. It’s described as stretching up to 4x its size. The product details don’t give its starting dimensions.

Are the candy flavors or ingredients specified? No flavors or ingredient details are provided in the available description. Check the package information if those details matter for the recipient.

Final verdict

This egg makes the most sense as a gift built around the reveal: the recipient gets a smash-open activity, several kinds of surprises, and candy alongside a stretchable character. It offers more variety than a simple blind-bag-style figure, but that variety comes with less certainty about the exact contents. Buy it when the surprise format and sweet treats are part of the appeal, choose a clearly specified toy instead if you need to know exactly which figure or candy is included.
