## Description

This set of wooden cooking utensils brings classic looks and gentle handling to everyday kitchen tasks, combining a full assortment of tools with a smooth, water-resistant teak finish for longevity. The six-piece collection is intended for stirring, serving and flipping, helping reduce scratches on nonstick pans while offering a comfortable grip for routine cooking.

## Key Points

The set includes six essential pieces for general cooking and serving, each carved with ergonomic handles for a comfortable hold. The teak wood has a closed grain and natural oils that add water resistance, and the surfaces are polished with a clear lacquer for a smooth finish that keeps the wood sheen visible.

These utensils are lightweight yet sturdy, allowing you to use them for sauces, sautés and salad serving without worrying about metal edges. According to the manufacturer, they are suitable for use with delicate cookware and will not scratch nonstick surfaces. 🍽️

The set also makes a decorative addition to countertop utensil holders, giving kitchens a warm, natural accent. Consider that prolonged soaking is not recommended, and the best care is a quick wash and vertical drying to maintain shape and finish.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Zulay Kitchen 6-Piece Teak Wood Utensil Set**
- Material: Teak wood with clear lacquer finish
- Pieces included: 6 (salad spoon, salad fork, serving spoon, skimmer, spatula, turner)
- Finish: Smooth polished surface, water-resistant according to the manufacturer
- Care: Hand wash recommended, rinse with mild soap and hang or stand upright to dry
- Warranty: Lifetime guarantee from the manufacturer

## Usage Recommendations

For routine cleaning rinse each utensil with warm water and mild dish soap, then hang or store them upright to dry. Avoid long soaks or dishwashers to prevent warping and to prolong the lacquered finish. When using with hot pans, allow utensils to cool slightly before leaving them in cookware for extended periods, as direct prolonged heat may affect the wood over time.

To refresh the surface and preserve the natural oil in the teak, apply a small amount of food-safe mineral oil occasionally and wipe off any excess. This helps maintain the wood’s tone and reduces the chance of cracking. 🪵

Light sanding with fine-grit paper can remove minor surface marks, followed by re-oiling to restore smoothness. Keep the utensils away from extreme humidity to prevent mold or swelling, even though teak is more resistant than many other woods. 🌿
