## Description

## What this ball is for
If you’re looking for an easy way to get toddlers and young kids moving, a kids soccer ball like this ZOOJOY Size 3 unicorn ball is a very straightforward pick. It’s designed for outdoor and indoor play, and the cute pink unicorn theme with a glittery surface is the kind of thing that can turn “I don’t want to go outside” into “let’s play one more round.”

On paper, it’s also meant to support early ball-sport interests—something parents often want when they’re trying to encourage active play without relying on screens. The unicorn look is clearly aimed at kids who are already into cute characters, and that personality matters more than you might think when you’re trying to keep a toddler engaged.

## Key points
This is a Size 3 soccer ball made for younger kids, with a perimeter of 23 inches and a stated weight of 320 grams. The idea is simple: a smaller, kid-friendly ball can be easier to control while children practice basic movements like locking, throwing, and rolling.

The surface also has a glitter look that catches light in the sun, which can make everyday play feel more fun and less repetitive. And because it’s built from synthetic PVC leather with machined-stitched construction, it’s positioned as a durable option for frequent play.

You should keep in mind, though, that the brand notes it’s recommended for kids over 3 years old. If you’re shopping for a child at the very low end of the age range listed on the name, you may need to manage supervision and expectations.

## What you’ll notice day to day
The “soft touch” design is the part that stands out most for early soccer. For many families, the goal isn’t perfect technique—it’s getting the ball to behave in a way that kids can handle. When a ball is easier to control, children tend to try more reps, and practice becomes less frustrating.

A micro example: imagine a backyard moment where your child rolls the ball across grass, then tries to kick it gently toward you. With a kid-sized ball, that back-and-forth can happen faster, and it’s easier for them to learn how to adjust force instead of just chasing something that feels too heavy or too bouncy.

As for the unicorn glitter surface, it’s mostly about the “fun factor.” If your child loves sparkly visuals, this will likely get more attention than a plain ball. If your child doesn’t care about themes, you might value the construction and size more than the design.

## Things to consider before buying
The listing emphasizes “recommended for kids over 3 years old,” so if you’re buying for a younger toddler, it may not feel like the best match depending on your child’s coordination and comfort. Also, while the ball is described for indoor/outdoor use, the write-up doesn’t specify surface limits—so if you’re planning on rough flooring or heavy-duty backyard scraping, it’s worth using basic care.

Finally, this is a themed kids ball. That’s a plus for some households, but if you’re shopping for a more serious soccer training focus, you may want to compare your priorities: theme and easy play for toddlers versus performance-focused training expectations.

## Should you buy it?
Worth considering if you want a toddler-to-early-kid soccer ball that’s sized for easier control, encourages active play, and has a unicorn design kids are likely to get excited about—especially for family play in the yard, at a playground, or indoors when the weather doesn’t cooperate.

You may want to skip it if your child is significantly under 3 and you’re expecting a ready-to-go experience right away, or if you’re looking for a no-nonsense, performance-first training ball where the theme matters less than pure soccer specs.

If you prioritize “will my kid actually play with this?” this kind of ball often does its job better than a plain one.
