## Description

The 4.8-inch backlit color screen makes readings easier to see in dim work areas. The ZMIWNIED FS899L combines 6000-count True RMS measurement with a built-in work light for electrical troubleshooting. USB-C recharging keeps the meter ready for repeat use around the home, workshop, or job site.

## Usage tips
Use the FS899L to measure AC and DC voltage or current, check resistance and continuity, and test capacitance. Frequency and ambient temperature readings add useful options when diagnosing appliances or working with HVAC equipment. For a typical home project, the backlit display helps keep readings visible while checking an outlet or tracing an electrical issue in a low-light area.

Need to check for a live wire without touching it with a probe? The non-contact voltage detection (NCV) function can help identify AC voltage presence. For other measurements, select the appropriate function and use the included probes or accessories to make the connection. The built-in flashlight helps illuminate the work area, while data hold lets you keep a measurement on screen when the meter is awkward to view directly.

## Why it’s worth it
A basic meter can cover everyday voltage checks, while the FS899L brings several diagnostic functions together in one device. Capacitance, frequency, temperature, and NCV detection make it useful across a wider range of household, automotive, and maintenance tasks, without switching between separate single-purpose testers. True RMS measurement and a 6000-count display provide detailed readings for the measurements this meter supports.

The display, flashlight, and data-hold function also address practical workspace needs. They can make it easier to read a value in a dim panel or retain it while working at an awkward angle. The 20-piece accessory kit offers several ways to connect to a test point, including probes and alligator clips. USB-C charging is a convenient alternative to relying on disposable batteries for regular use.

Buyer feedback describes the meter as handy and functional, with some customers highlighting its usefulness for maintenance work. Those impressions reflect individual experiences, while the range of measurement functions and included accessories provide concrete reasons to consider it for varied diagnostic tasks.

## Final verdict
The ZMIWNIED FS899L is suited to home users, technicians, and maintenance workers who want one rechargeable meter for common electrical checks and additional measurements such as capacitance, frequency, and temperature. Its large backlit display, built-in light, NCV function, and broad accessory kit support work in different settings, from household troubleshooting to workshop maintenance.
