## Description

A phone-focused backup battery and a compact source for AC-powered gear solve different problems. The ZeroKor R65 is designed for the latter: it combines a 110V AC outlet rated up to 65W with DC and USB outputs, in a rechargeable unit weighing 1.6 pounds. Its 24,000mAh capacity is shared across AC, DC, and USB use, so it is best considered a small power source for selected devices rather than a replacement for a larger power station.

For a campsite, road trip, or brief outage, the outlet can be useful when a device needs an AC adapter and draws less than 65W. It also has a flashlight with reading and SOS modes.

## Quick overview

The R65 offers one 110V AC outlet, one DC output rated 9V–12.6V/10A max, and two USB-A outputs: one rated up to 5V/3A or 9V/2A, and one rated up to 5V/2.1A. The AC outlet uses a modified sine wave. The manufacturer cautions that this output is unsuitable for medical equipment and may produce noise during use. Check a device’s running wattage before connecting it, the AC output is not intended for loads over 65W.

The listed connections cover devices such as laptops, phones, cameras, drones, and headphones, provided their power requirements match the available output. A practical example is charging a phone over USB while powering a low-wattage laptop through its AC adapter. If you mainly need USB charging, a simpler battery pack may be a better fit, the R65’s distinguishing feature is its AC outlet. USB-C is not listed among its ports.

Buyers’ feedback reflects both the convenience and the trade-offs of this format. Some appreciate how easily the unit packs for travel and describe it as useful for small devices or short outages. Battery life and build quality receive mixed reactions, with some buyers reporting that the unit stopped charging sooner than expected. Those varied experiences make it sensible to treat capacity as a planning figure, not a guarantee of runtime for a particular device.

## Maintenance

The manufacturer recommends charging and discharging the lithium-ion battery periodically and recharging it when its power is low, rather than leaving it unused for long stretches or routinely draining it completely. Keep the unit away from rain, moisture, and bathrooms, and do not disassemble it. The AC outlet cannot provide pass-through power while the power bank itself is charging, USB and DC outputs can.

Recharge options include a wall adapter, a 12V car charging cable, or a separately purchased solar panel. For solar charging, the manufacturer specifies a DC5521 connection and 13V–16V input at up to 2A. A panel is not included, so that route requires a compatible panel of its own.

## Who it’s for

It makes sense if you want a portable AC outlet for a laptop or other device below the 65W limit, alongside USB and DC outputs for smaller electronics. At 6.89 × 3.98 × 1.89 inches and 1.6 pounds, it has concrete travel and camping use cases without the footprint of a larger power station. Not the best choice if you need to run a heating appliance, an air compressor, or any device above its rated output, the manufacturer specifically excludes examples such as hair dryers, portable air conditioners, and coffee makers. If you prioritize longer operation or higher-wattage equipment, look for a power source with specifications suited to that load.

## Practical questions

Can it power a laptop? Yes, if the laptop and its adapter draw less than 65W. Check the laptop’s running power before use, the AC outlet is rated for 65W maximum.

Can it recharge from a solar panel? Yes, with a separately purchased panel using a DC5521 connection and meeting the stated 13V–16V, 2A-max input.

Can it power a device while charging itself? USB and DC outputs support pass-through charging, but the AC outlet does not.

## Buying verdict

Choose the R65 when an AC outlet matters as much as portable USB charging and your planned devices stay within its output limits. Its compact dimensions, flashlight, and multiple output types suit light-duty trips or small backup tasks. For medical equipment, high-wattage appliances, or a setup that needs AC power during recharging, its stated output design is a mismatch, a larger or differently specified power station is the more appropriate approach.
