## Description

The four-microphone format makes the ZERFUN MU-898 suited to group vocals, while its handheld microphones and metal receiver give the setup a defined, straightforward layout.

Each microphone is rechargeable and has a unidirectional pickup pattern. The receiver adds separate volume controls for the four wireless microphones, plus adjustable echo and Bluetooth input.

That combination can serve a different need than a basic single-microphone setup: it lets several people take turns or sing together, while Bluetooth can provide background music from a paired device.

## Best use cases
For home karaoke, a meeting, a church gathering, or a party, four wireless handheld microphones can make passing the mic between speakers or singers easier than sharing one. The receiver connects to audio equipment through a 3.5 mm or 6.35 mm output, and the listing names speakers, amplifiers, mixers, karaoke machines, and audio interfaces among compatible devices.

The microphones are described as unidirectional, picking up sound when spoken into from the top. That pattern is intended to focus on the voice rather than sound arriving from the side. For a small event with several vocalists and a sound system already in place, the separate mic volume controls and adjustable echo offer useful ways to manage the mix at the receiver.

## Pros
Four rechargeable microphones are included, along with the receiver, power adapter, audio cables, windscreens, and nonslip rings. The stated microphone operating time is 10–12 hours when fully charged, so the set is intended for more than a brief karaoke session. A battery indicator light is also listed.

Buyer feedback is generally positive about sound, construction, battery life, and setup. Reliability and volume control draw more mixed reactions: some buyers report good results, while others describe microphones stopping unexpectedly or finding the volume low. Those differing experiences are worth weighing if the system is for an event where a backup microphone is important.

## Highlights
The receiver combines controls for all four wireless microphones with an echo adjustment and Bluetooth input. Pairing is described as connecting to “X168”, the Bluetooth input can be used to play background music. The listed frequency range is 500–599 MHz, and the manufacturer describes channel and frequency adjustment for avoiding interference.

This set is more focused on multi-person vocal use than a simpler one-mic arrangement. Its listed outputs are 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm, with a 3.5 mm input and a 6.35 mm wired-mic input also described. It may not suit you if your setup requires a documented XLR connection, that output is not listed for the MU-898.

## Questions before you buy
What comes in the box? The package includes four rechargeable wireless microphones, one receiver, a power adapter, 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm audio cables, two microphone charging cables, four windscreens, four nonslip rings, and a user manual.

Can it play music from a phone or other Bluetooth device? The receiver has a Bluetooth input. The instructions describe pairing by selecting “X168” on the device, then using the receiver to play background music.

Does it include a speaker? No speaker is listed among the included components. The system has audio outputs for connecting to compatible sound equipment, so plan to use a speaker, amplifier, or another suitable audio system.

## Should you buy it?
A solid pick if you need four handheld wireless mics for karaoke, group singing, or speaking events and already have compatible audio equipment. The separate controls, rechargeable microphones, and Bluetooth input make it more versatile than a basic single-mic kit. For a setup that depends on XLR connections, or for an event where reliability must be predictable, the documented connections and mixed buyer feedback deserve careful consideration before choosing this system.
