Zdgao Portable Volleyball Net 18FT

The adjustable-height setup is the standout feature: you can raise or lower the net for different players and practice levels. That makes it easier to share one setup for casual games and serving or hitting drills.

At 18 feet wide, it takes a more compact approach than a regular 32-foot net. It’s aimed at backyard play, indoor practice, and smaller games rather than recreating a full-size court.

The freestanding frame is designed to set up without tools, support ropes, or added weights. The set also includes a volleyball, pump with needles, and carry bag.

Technical details

The net is listed at 18 feet wide, with a height-adjustable pole system. The listed height ranges are 96 to 98 inches for men’s regulation height and 87 to 89 inches for women’s, the net can also be set lower for other heights and skill levels. The frame uses powder-coated steel, with fiberglass poles and netting.

The package includes a PU volleyball, a pump with needles, and a carry bag. Its freestanding design is intended for use on grass, sand, gym floors, and concrete, among other surfaces. The listing describes the materials as weather resistant, but it doesn’t specify how they should be stored or maintained after outdoor use.

Getting the most from it

Think of this as a practice and casual-play setup, not a replacement for a wider court net. Its shorter width suits one-on-one or two-on-two games and leaves more room for serving and hitting drills in a backyard or gym. If you’re warming up, for example, you can set the net at a suitable height and work on serves or spikes without needing a full court.

The adjustable height is useful when players differ in age, height, or experience. Start lower for a mixed-skill group, then raise it as players get comfortable. Setup is described as a one-person job with no tools, though the listing gives no packed dimensions or weight to help you judge how easily it will fit in a particular vehicle.

Usage tips

Choose a clear, level area with enough room to move around both sides of the net. The listed surfaces include sand and grass as well as gym flooring and concrete, so the set can move between outdoor practice and indoor use. On a hard surface, take care to avoid placing the frame where players could run into nearby furniture or obstacles.

Use the sliders to set the height for the group and activity, rather than assuming one height will suit every session. After practice, the foldable frame and included carry bag make it easier to pack the set away. The description doesn’t give detailed setup instructions or a maintenance schedule, so don’t assume it can be left outdoors indefinitely just because the materials are described as weather resistant.

A solid pick if you want a portable net for small games, family practice, or warm-ups, and value adjustable height over full-court width. You may want to skip it if your regular games require a 32-foot net or you need detailed information about packed size before choosing a transport option.

Questions before you buy

Does the set include a volleyball? Yes. The listing includes a PU volleyball and a pump with needles, along with the carry bag.

Can one person set it up? The freestanding design is described as tool-free and suitable for setup by one person. The listing doesn’t provide a precise setup time.

Can the net be used indoors and outdoors? It is described for indoor and outdoor use on surfaces including grass, sand, gym floors, and concrete. The listed width is 18 feet, so it is intended for a more compact setup than a regular 32-foot net.

Final verdict

Choose this Zdgao net if a portable, adjustable setup for backyard games, smaller groups, or practice matters more than full-court width. The included ball and pump make it a ready-to-use set, and the height range gives different players room to adapt the setup. Its main trade-off is the 18-foot width: players who want a regular 32-foot net for larger games should look for a wider format instead.
